COMPUTERS R SERIOUS BUSINESS
What monitors are those? 0.0
They look quite similar to the three I have

Waited for a punchline the whole time

Alright I've run into a new problem.

I just built a computer with an old HDD and mobo, when I boot it up it runs perfect, turned it off to connect everything else, fans/gpu etc

Turn it on, and you hear the regular beep, but my monitors don't pick up a signal from the integrated or pci card.

Mobo is micro ATX, and I've tested the PSU, it's power is enough and it's not damaged.

Disconnect the GPU, plug the monitor back into the integrated one. When it boots, go into the BIOS and make sure that your default GPU is selected as the PCI-E one.

My main computer's motherboard shat itself and I'm currently running an old XP computer.
I've got a couple other Windows 7 computers I could use but the XP has a better graphics card and is able to support all my monitors.

I don't mind XP, it's still great, wish they supported it more though

Should put the Noctua NH-D14 and the Thermalright Silver Arrow on the poll :D

Yep, sure is. I need to update it, but I'm in the process of doing a diploma, and a full time job which I just got at a computer store. stuff's hectic, but hopefully I have time to get around and revamp this stuff.

Can I run AC:B with this graphics card?

Requirements
Graphics: 256 MB DirectX® 9.0–compliant card with Shader Model 3.0 or higher (see supported list*)
Supported Video Cards: ATI® RADEON® HD 2000/3000/4000/5000/6000 series, NVIDIA GeForce® 8/9/100/200/300/400/500 series
Nah not really. It would play, but would most likely be super laggy. It's hard to tell for sure cause your video drivers aren't showing what exact model it is.

I am having some big problems with my computer
First, whenever I start up my computer all this stuff starts up with it. I don't know what programs are mandatory for my computer and the ones that are hogging my stuff. I didn't even install half that stuff but this is what happens when you have stupid friends

-snip-

Another thing is that every time I wan't to shut off my computer it always installs 3 specific updates. I have installed them repeatedly but they always want to install on shutdown

-snip-

The last thing is different. Back at the beginning of the year my hard drive died. So I got a new one and reinstalled my OS and files. But now every time I start up my computer this pops up:

Can you guys please help me with this? especially the last one.
I'm gonna be blunt and say that a reformat would fix everything. However that's probably not the most logical thing to do for everyone.

Hey guys, I need a new mouse because my current RAT 7 has so many issues with it, like it spazzing out during an intense fight in TF2 or some other game, or double or even triple clicking when I click once. I love it to death though, so it's going to be tough getting rid of it. ;_;

Do you guys have any suggestions for a new mouse? I'd like to stay away from wireless mice.
Logitech G9X. Epic mouse, it's what I use.

Ethan seems to be here, good.I have another computer model, but the same graphics card and BIOS version as the computer that is supported in this article.
Um, I think it'd be worth it, just make sure the BIOS is EXACTLY the same, cause you don't want it to brick anything.

So I've been needing a new computer for a while and since I've just moved to Australia my parents thought they would treat me too a $1000 PC
Obviously this is great news so I've put myself a computer together which i think is good, could do with some advice as i am no expert in what's good or not!
I am building this computer myself, parts are as follows:

http://www.mwave.com.au/sku-19010246-Intel_Core_i5_3570K_Unlocked_Quad_Core_3rd_Gen_Processor_Socket_LGA1155_34GHz_Tu
I hope you can tell this is meant to be a gaming computer, no case picked out yet and i already have a disk drive i can put in.
Anyway, advice please!
Looks good, but the CPU cooler doesn't list 1155 as a supported socket.

Actually, you really might want to consider a better power supply. Drawing over the rated output of a power supply can greatly shorten the PSU's life due to being overworked, as well as the life of other computer components as they starve for power when the PSU fails to supply the required power.
This.

What kind of bad player doesn't support a simple WMA file?

I'm thinking of upgrading my GPU, suggestions?

I'd get a bigger monitor first, cause you won't get much benefit with a 1366x768 monitor from your current GPU.
