Modification Help / Is there a way to change an addon preference using the console?

Since RTB isn't something I can easily get without Microsoft Smartscreen saying it's a virus or something bad, I might need to change some preferences since Blockland Glass isn't working too well. Any ideas?

Help / blockland_setup.exe not loading

This has been bugging me for a bit now, but when I double-click on the blockland setup application, nothing happens. Five minutes later, it says it couldn't open in a timely fashion. Any ideas?

Help / Why did CloudFlare suddenly block me?

For some reason, I was right in the middle of a topic when CloudFlare gave me a red cross with a message saying I was blocked from that page. It didn't specify it was a ban, it just said I was disallowed to access the domain. I did http://blockland.us and it worked like normal - what could have caused this?

I'm assuming an IP ban - IP bans aren't reliable because once you reboot your router, you are given a new IP address, and the banned user can just reset their modem to gain a new IP and have access.

Help / What the heck caused my computer to crash!?

I was just playing Blockland on my own, when a copy of the Blockland Launcher opened. It was the usual size, and when I tried to close it, it came up with a Windows ME-style window asking me if I wanted to close it. I said close it, and that did nothing except make the window blank (it didn't show the default blockland loader thingy, it just showed a blank image). When I tried CTRL-ALT-DELETE, I was greeted with a black screen. About 2 minutes later, another Windows ME style window cropped up saying it failed to launch the security options menu. By this time, I was starting to think a virus was on my computer. I was forced to switch my computer off by the mains, and when I rebooted it, of course it asked if I wanted to boot in Safe Mode. I said boot windows normally, and nothing abnormal is happening. I have Norton Security updated to the latest version, and it keeps displaying a green 'tick' on the logo. I'm about to do a scan for viruses. I'll post what I find.

Any ideas? I can't upload console.log since it takes WAY too long (about 6 hours) and I am not in the best of moods to miss New Year's Eve-Day's transition.

OS: Windows Vista SP1 (Made in 2006)

PS: If you have ever heard of the following, you will know what I mean.
After that incident, I now officially have cyberphobia.

Hey guys, I may be in the book of bad forum-blocklanders because of my previous topics. Now, I have something somewhat helpful for people who have been affected by an onActivate-restricting related incident.

All you need to do to fix this nasty bug is type the following into your console:

for(%i=0; %i < $InputEvent_CountfxDTSbrick; %i++){$InputEvent_AdminOnlyfxDTSBrick_[%i] = 0;}After you hit return, get a non-admin to try and make an onActivate event. If it succeeds, you did everything correctly.

Suggestions & Requests / SCP: Containment Breach JVS doors

Hi guys, I have a suggestion that would be helpful for me, which is animated SCP: Containment Breach doors.
- It doesn't have to have textures
- It needs to sync with the "Light Containment" door sounds
- Light and heavy containment door styles if possible
- SCP logo is optional on the LC doors

If anyone gets around to doing this, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Edit: I need the Heavy Containment doors, which could be modified from the JVS sliding door so it fits 1x4 than 1x6. Preferably would like the HC door sounds but not as urgent as the LC doors animated.

Also, I have no idea how to change models and animations :/

Help / Server crashes when someone joins randomly?

When I was hosting, someone called 'Wyvern' joined. Then the server crashed. It's happened before when SoarStone (One of my admins), Barry Penrose, and even other people joined. Does anyone know a solution for this? (picture provided)

This hasn't happened before, but I cannot connect to ANY servers at all, Only 7 servers have a true ping, all the others were --- or ???. If anyone could help me, thanks!

Help / Server has an estimated 1/25 chance of crashing when someone joins.

I was playing on Blockland on a multiplayer server, but as soon as this guy joined (I forgot the name), it had a runtime error. This has happened to me on several occasions, including when I was doing a Renderman Hunt. If anyone knows why this happens, please tell me. Also, I have a very old graphics card, (OpenGL 1.0), so if any of you guys know, please notify me on this post.

My OS: Windows Vista, Service Pack 1 with OpenGL 1.0. PC was built for Windows Vista, and an Intel Pentium D.

Hey guys, I need staff for my new 'Trainspot Show'. It is on mostly every Saturday, but I need these things:
Special FX player, Acting Partner, Someone to design the studio, and a background visual effects player.

Drama / Can there really be a DONATOR rank?

There's this guy who just joined this server, called Donor. His BL-ID is 86212. He claims he is a Blockland Donator, and I am thinking suspicious about him. My server was friends only, and all of my friends weren't here when I proposed a meeting, so i couldn't put a password in. Does anyone know if this is a scam or not? I'm really suspicious.

PS: He claims that if I ban him, he will ban me from the game.

Hey guys, i'm wondering if you can get those sorts of doors you get on modern UK trains. My most needed is the Class 150 door. If anyone can make something like this, PLEASE, please notify me.

How do I stop using the blockland Server Filter? My server ping is 999+, and the filter only allows servers at 999 or less ping. Any help?

Gallery / Bot City (Move Please)

Bot City
Yes, this is a city to do with bots. They usually have a normal pattern of sleeping, commuting, working, school life, and everything. I need quite a lot of houses, train stations, bus stations, even hotels, and everything life has.
If you want to participate in the making of Bot City, Just come to my server and tell me.
If you have any house ideas, Build them, add a picture to your post, and I will decide for each one.

(This is work in progress, so please don't complain if you want to play with the bots or something.)
