http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suppression_of_Enemy_Air_Defenses
So far this has only been tested against stuffty 3rd world armies that get dwarfed by the US Army and NATO. You can just swoop in and be like  "LOL SEAD! LOL CHAFF! LOL FLARE DUMP! LOL EVASIVE MANUEVERS! LOL STRAFING RUN" every time. Like I mentioned. If a SEAD Aircraft fire anti radar missiles, the radar teams can just flick their radars off and the Shrike, Arm, or Harm will veer off and then the radars get flicked back on and missiles are launched. Some missiles like the HARM an newer versions of the ARM will remember the position of the radar. However sometimes the enemy will use truck mounted radar or put decoys up. One example of decoys was during the Yugoslav wars where they would put salvaged mig-21 electronics out to fool SEAD aircraft.

all of the damn heatseekers get fooled by flares most of the time, I guess that's for balance because it would be too easy to shoot down everyone. (newer air-to-air missiles have this feature too, you know.)
But my electro-optical missiles. If flares worked first time everytime, everyone would have given up on infrared based missiles long ago.

If SAMs were as good in this as they are in real life then mlockha would be going through like two planes per mission. Realism doesn't equate to fun.
A little realism never hurt, too much though can. Realistically not all radar SAMs hit their targets.

It's possible to dodge a sam, but keep mind the sam's in the Video are really old SA-2 and SA-3 missiles which were designed for hitting spy planes and bombers and older fighter jets.

So for mobile ground air defense I did so research to make SAMs less squishy and more believable. Also you will have more variety than "SAM TRUCK" which end up getting strafed.

Infared Missiles: They lock on a heat source. Older missiles can be fooled by flares. New Systems have cameras mounted to lock on to the origional Heat Source.

List of Infared Missile systems
MIM-72 Chaparral:
Guidance: Infrared
Range: 9000 meters
Altitude: 4000 Meters
Speed: Mach 1.5
Warhead: 12.6kg HE Frag
4 missiles loaded, 8 in storage

Strela-10M:
Guidance: Infrared/Photocontrast
Range: 6900 meters
Altitude: 3500 Meters
Speed: Near Mach 2
Warhead: 12.6Kg He Frag

Crotale:
Guidance: Infrared/Radar/Electro-Optical
Range: 11000 meters
Altitude: 5000 meters
Speed: Mach 2.3
Warhead: 13kg HE Frag
can only carry 4 missiles

Radar Missiles: These are are guided via radar as well being manually guided to their target. However since they require radar guidance, the radar system/missile launcher on the ground can be jammed via jammer pod or destroyed with an anti-radiation missile.
Anti Radar Missiles can also be defeated by having the radar being constantly being flicked on and off.

the best thing is that it burns a stuffton of calories. :o
Depends on how far you are going, how much you are working your legs, and the speed and frequency at which you move.

Who puts spacing in then their words? Are they one of those kids that are too dumb to turn off the censorship or are they some sort extremist Christian that thinks they won't go to hell if they space the word out?

3551
its fine man, you can write for them if you want
i don't think any of the huit players even read posts anyway except for hurricane, who has apparently fallen off the face of the planet
I would glady do more stuff if me sam commander guy can into existence.

3552
So basically the Hamas is like a guy that shoots a nerf dart in your face, then Israel pulls out a 12 guage and blows the kids head off and says that the was defending himself.

don't watch if you're susceptible to getting sick from these things.
and something tells me the door will be open to these guys once Israel tries to destroy the Hamas. Once the Hamas are gone all these extremists will think, "Those proud freedom fighters are gone and now the Zionists are oppressing fellow muslims! WE MUST WAGE A JIHAD AGAINST THE INFIDELS FOR ALLAH!"

I never understood why people spent big bucks and fancy keyboard or mouse. I've being using the default keyboard and mouse. It's not fancy, but it does the job. It's also not a chick propellant.

what is "mint chip" ice cream
i never had that before

It's pretty good. It's basically mint flavored ice-cream with chocolate chips in it. I'd recommend trying plain mint first, it tastes similar to the shamrock shake if you had it.

American Cold War Tanks:
M41 Bulldog (Light Tank):

1953- 1960
Notes: Replaced the outdated Chaffee tanks.

M551 Sheridan:

1969-1996
Notes: An Amphibious and airdeployable light tank. It had Aluminum armor which made it vulnerable to everything, but small arms. They tank was capable of firing 152mm caseless ammo and a missile.

M46 Patton (Medium Tank):

1950s, quickly replaced my the M47
Notes: This tank came into service as an improvement over the M26 Pershing tanks.

M47 Patton (Medium Tank):

1950s - Early 1960s
Notes: Was a pretty short lived tank like the M46 Patton. Both tanks were equipped with 90mm guns.

M48 Patton (Medim Tank):

1953-mid 1990s
Notes: Was the standard Medium tank armored with a 90mm gun until Vietnam. After Vietnam the tank was one of the last American tanks to use the 90mm gun, which was replaced after the Vietnam war with a 105mm gun to keep it up to standard with the M60 tank.

M103 (Heavy Tank):

1957-1974
Notes: One of the first tanks in American service to use the 120mm gun. However Ammunition was loaded as a two piece system. It was designed to counter the Soviet Heavy tanks like the IS-3 and T-10. The tank was quickly phased out due to complications and the fact that heavy tanks were outdated for the modern battlefield.

M60 Patton (MBT):

1961-1997
notes: The first MBT to enter American service as well as being one of the first to use the 105mm gun. It did not see action in Vietnam, as they were either stationed in Europe. However the tank did see action in the Gulf War. The tank has seen more action in Foreign service. It also briefly served along side the newer M1 tanks until it was phased out in 1997.

M60A2 "Starship":

service: 1980s, quickly phased out
Notes: This tank was designed as a place holder for the prototype MBT-70. It featured a laser range finder. It was armored with the same 152mm gun on the Sheridan. It was capable of firing 152mm caseless ammo and the Shillelagh gun launched guided missile. The tank was quickly phased out and replaced with the M60A3 patton. It should also be noted that it was called the Starship because of its space age technology and confusing/complicated controls.

M1 Abrams series (MBT):

1980-Present
Notes: Entering service in 1980 as the M1 Abrams, it was the second MBT to enter service. Early versions were had steel armor an a 105mm gun. These version were soon replaced by the short lived M1IP Abrams in 1984, which had a longer turret. Eventually these were soon upgraded to the M1A1 Abrams in 1985 which gave the tank a 120mm gun. Later upgrades like the M1A1HA and HC gave the tanks depleted uranium armor inserts. At one point in time both the Patton and Abrams tanks served together, however in the late 1990s the Patton was retired from service which left the Abrams as the only tank in American service to this day.
