Most of committed with a handgun and not deadly "salt" rifles. Pistols are one of the most controlled things in our system. You have to go through a thorough background check and you have to be 21 years old to buy a handgun.

The solution is to blame Hollywood and rap music. Teach kids that the gang life is a terrible choice and to make movies that don't glamorize them. At the same time teach fire arm safety to reduce accidental deaths.

Mexico has a high murder and abuction rate. Ownership of firearms is illegal. California is an American state with big gun control, high deathrate. The thing is though most of the said deaths are gang related, as a conservative might say: basically brown people killing other brown people of another color(red or blue).

Also look at Norway, full of good peaceful people. Had a crazy guy attack a political youth camp.

They mostly dwell on youtube or places where gun nuts, /k/ommandos, and people who work with guns don't go. Every once in awhile they wander off into the wrong place to start to fangirl about how great their hero Gordon Freeman is and how the MP7 is the best gun in the world. AWP and P90 are worshiped by the COD and CS crowd. Then you have the Media and Game devs who want people to believe that shotguns can only hit something 5 feet away.

I agree. Too many idiots on the internet these days that think they know about firearms, but their knowledge comes from a unrealistic Hollywood trope video game. Now we have all these idiots that worship the MP7, crowbars, that British Artic Warfare Magnum rifle, and the P90 because video games have them believing that they are the best firearms in the world.
