nice sprites! one small critique: the black outlines on blond dude's hair and girl's white shirt are out of place and look real crusty when zoomed out. if you're going to do "disconnected outline" (is that the term?) only do it with close-ish colors in value. you could probably get away with using red shirt color as blond hair outline. unsure of what to do with white shirt; probably just use darkest blue and it'll look OK?

i have some pixel art too that will probably make you disregard all my thoughts on lineart oops. i dont like doing lines at this small of resolution bc it feels too Chunky

you know what tony, you should incorporate the young children to your youtube channel and help them and us learn about colors and shapes
i know this is a joke but trust me, you do not want young children watching your youtube channel. when an 11 year old comes to your stream and starts venting about how they have no father it's really uncomfortable. they just choose you to be their role model but you never asked for it and suddenly there's a pressure to be kid-friendly instead of just posting the stuff that you want.

Weird question, me and a friend have been trying to do art, and so far, sticking to the phun deez. I had a more experienced art friend show me how he constructs before making his final product. It was a mass of shapes—so I can assume people can construct figures differently, but what I don't understand is anatomy. I mean, I know to study real life references, but is there other resources to help break anatomy down? Like the limbs and torso?
"figure drawing for all it's worth" book and frank reilly method. look at medical textbooks for specifics on anatomy then real pictures of people to try to identify what you saw without skin in the medical books
