It's supposed to be viewed in a 3 dimensional way. The light is shining on him, casting a shadow behind him.

He's talking about the shadows on the dog itself. They have odd positioning.

Also, tried lighter shadows.

Wow i've seen to have made people enter a trance to play this again... i think....

EDIT:The wiki tells the surge is like an archer,patch is like a tank, and ram is like a scout

I mostly use Surge to knock people down.

from what I remember:
Patch was the bulky one, Ram was fast, Surge = spam Rush forever

And that's why I love it.
