At any rate, I think it could, as my microwave can run S&S on medium at about 40 FPS with 8000 bricks on the screen at once, and 70 without.

I'm assuming you're talking about blockland, so wrong section.
I'm also assuming you have a key, as you are clearly posting on the forums, therefore, why don't you just start up blockland, go to your options menu, and enable shadows and shaders?

In China (and really, almost every other country besides the US, to my knowledge at least) you drive on the left side of the road.
