I have to agree with you on that, shinji
But it's also about the style of the graphics
A good example of this is Mirror's Edge. All the colors are really loving vibrant and it adds a really nice visual feel to the game
And one of my favorite personal examples is the Guild Wars series. They use a really nice art style to make the games just nice to look at, rather than having ridiculous system requirements and all that

i played some during closed beta
basically:
battlefield 2 + bfbc2 classes - squad system = battlefield play4free
it's okay, but if you own bf2 and/or bfbc2 it's kind of pointless to try since those are much better
