Was trying to go for a remix, but I couldn't find certain sounds that I needed, so I decided to make this loop instead.
Download/Listen

I may make more in the future if I get good responses.

Suggestions & Requests / Bang!
« on: March 18, 2014, 08:12:29 AM »
The Basics
Bang was a (very addicting) card game that sort of takes the idea of the original Mafia(no i don't mean the gamemode, although it is similar), and makes it much more interesting.
There's four teams - the Sherrif, the Deputies, the Bandits, and the Outlaw.

The 'good' team is the Sherrif and the Deputies. The Sherrif's job is to kill all the bandits and the outlaw, and the Deputies' jobs are to protect the Sherrif. The Sherrif is the only person known to all the other players, so this makes it kind of hard. The Deputies aren't known, however(except to the Sherrif), and can use this to their advantage/disadvantage.

The 'bad' team is comprised of the Bandits, and the Outlaw. The job of the Bandits is to kill the Sherrif and his Deputies. Here's a twist though - the Outlaw's job is to kill everybody. Thankfully for whoever plays the Outlaw, he's not known(neither are the Bandits, unless you're the Outlaw, in which case you can pick out exactly who you hired, which is kind of essential).

The Weapons
Each individual guy gets a random gun, with it's own advantages and disadvantages(ex, it could be a weak six-shot revolver, it could be a really strong one-shot rifle), and only a limited number of bullets(depending on gun). You can get bullet refills from picking it up off dead guys, or you could find a bullet box somewhere and use that(somewhat rare, one-time use). This tends to make things really interesting, since when you run out of bullets, you're fairly toast. The good thing is, you could either right-click with your weapon to melee someone with it(or you could just stick in something like action melee i suppose). The advantage for people like the Sherrif and the Outlaw is that they get twice the number of bullets that they normally would with their gun - they'd get twelve bullets for their six-shots, and a one-shot would get two bullets. This makes them have an edge in combat, which is really needed by them over their employees/goons.

Feel free to add ideas to this, I've only just started thinking through all of it.

Suggestions & Requests / Build Switching

I would love it if someone could rip the 'build switching' feature of speedkart out for use through events or whatever else.

« on: January 28, 2014, 08:44:32 AM »
So apparently one of the public schools in Texas decided to have school regardless of the fact everything's icy as forget right now
they ended up with 7 kids and a bus driver having a wreck because of the roads and stuff
apparently most of the other stuff in my state doesn't give a stuff about the weather right now and everything's opening as normal regardless of this

Suggestions & Requests / Cycled PoV's and Kneeling
« on: January 28, 2014, 08:05:35 AM »
So, I had a bit of an idea recently.
What if you could have more points of view then current, or custom ones?
For example, the default points of view are first-person and third-person, directly behind the character. What if you could simply make a custom point of view for a view from the side or the front, and just cycle through it by continuing to hit whatever key you have bound to change your PoV?
If custom PoV's aren't possible, then you could simply make a few instead.

Kneeling:
Basically just an alternate animation that's between crouching and normal standing. Basically, an animation that lowers the character's height to that of the /sit command and makes them kneel.
Nothing special.
Although if you could figure out how to make the hitboxes correspond to the player's height so that it doesn't act like he/she is still standing, then that'd be nice too.

Help / Can't connect to RTB anymore?
« on: December 27, 2013, 04:18:01 PM »
So, I've basically just ported my installation to steam.
I can't use RTB anymore for god-knows-why, it just sits there attempting to connect then just gives up with no notification it has at all until I check it.
The only thing I can think of that might be causing this is that I use two computers, both with an install of BL on steam, and both have RTB. However, the other computer isn't running BL atm (as far as I know).
Before you ask, no, I can't check the other computer to see if it IS actually logged or if it can connect to RTB, because it's somewhere I can't get to atm.

Suggestions & Requests / Sideways pistol
« on: December 19, 2013, 08:33:47 PM »
We need a unique weapon, we haven't had one in a while.
I think having a sideways pistol so people can be gangsta and stuff would be a nice addition for comedy and otherwise.
preferably a glock or something similar.

Help / Unable to alt-tab with BL running?
« on: November 10, 2013, 07:53:57 PM »
For some reason, when Blockland is running, I can alt-tab to switch back to desktop, but am then unable to alt-tab back, or alt-tab to anything. When I try, it just pops it up for about a half second then disappears before I can click on anything. Same goes for trying to switch by clicking on the icon. I've tried the 'switch to' button in taskmanager, however one of two things will happen when I try that:
Either it eternally just fights with the computer attempting to switch back to the desktop, away from BL,
Or it just crashes Blockland entirely.

I have no idea why this is happening - also, the console shows nothing out of place when I try it. Also, I've tried looking at processes while BL is running to check if it's virus-related, but nothing shows.

Suggestions & Requests / Event show tool
« on: November 10, 2013, 09:10:00 AM »
What if there was a tool, that, when you had it out, would make it so you could only see certain kinds of bricks, for example
Bricks running events
evented bricks
or bricks related to events?

Gallery / (IMAGE HEAVY) A space fighter I've been working on
« on: November 03, 2013, 11:36:14 AM »
So, a while back I made a nice looking spaceship and took some pictures of it, but put off making a post about it, because I felt it wasn't good enough yet.
The original build:

The new build changed a lot, including cutting down on the brickcount (original was 1200, new is 1070), making the landing gear look nicer, shortening the things on the sides of the wings, and adding a bit more to the arsenal.
New build:

Feel free to rate!
Download's attached as well if you want the build for your own uses.

Drama / Joey (10532) - Control Freak
« on: November 01, 2013, 07:30:57 PM »
Joey, the host of a 'Quarantine RP', seems to be somewhat of a control freak.
I'd known him a little bit(about two days total) because he seemed like a good host, actually had a fun server for once.
Anyway, I joined today, went AFK, came back and saw that I'd been teleported onto a bus, along with basically everyone else on-server.
After a little bit of him driving around, he forced us all out of said bus and stuck us in a room, then blocked off the entrance so nobody could leave.
A lot of people start complaining that he's basically caged us in a small room with no way out.
After a little while of this, he randomly throws a gas grenade in(It didn't kill anyone though).
A bit later, somehow, someone new needed to go in the 'cage', and Joey breaks the door and forces him in. However, someone manages to break out and jump in a bus.
He restarts the minigame immediately, and sticks us in a new cell(A different one). No bus this time, just we all get tp'd in. A bunch of people start to complain, and he replies 'I don't want you to rebel'.

He starts bitching about how we're 'not listening' and that if we were let out 'we'd all kill him with snipers(I'm not even sure how the forget he managed to think we'd get sniper rifles, since there were no weapon spawns throughout the entire map???). Eventually, he gets sick of it and lets us all out, saying 'you'll all see what's going to happen'.
A bunch of arguing starts after a little bit because he continues on his rage streak, and the following happens:

And then he shuts the server down shortly after.
Long story short - He's a badmin with a bad temper.

Gallery / My attempt at parodying a Packard Bell MS-DOS startup screen
« on: October 05, 2013, 08:36:48 PM »
So i got bored and attempted to parody the start up screen for a Packard Bell computer running MS-DOS 6.22.
http://youtu.be/mrVVpTrQkTA?t=3m51s My reference for building it.
The parody I built.

I apologize for the weird small text, I couldn't make all the text about the same size due to the size i used being a lot smaller then the actual resolution(MS-DOS computers from when it was around used 640x480, which would mean I'd pass the brick limit by far).

Rate x/10 if you want, but do take into account what I've said above.
