Off Topic / Runner's High

So I think I may have experienced the proverbial Runner's High today.

I'm doing the C25K thing and today was an increment in times, last week was two reps of 1 1/2 minutes jogging the walking, 3 minutes jogging, 3 minutes walking. This week is 3 minutes jogging, 1 1/2 minutes walking, 5 minutes jogging, walk for 2 1/2 minutes, jogging for 3 minutes, walk 1 1/2 minutes, jog five minutes. I was a little nervous, because this is more running overall then I've done, even though you could argue that 9 minutes continuous is harder than 16 minutes broken up. Plus, I had a bit of a sore throat and I hadn't run in a while. But that's beside the point.

Everything was peachy until my timer skipped to the walk increment in the late 3rd or early 4th minute of the first five minute segment. I decided to run until I needed to stop. This probably ended up being around one or two minutes longer than the original five minutes.

I did the 2 1/2 minute walk, jogged for 3 minutes walked for 90 seconds, and at the end of that segment, the music that I'm jogging to is right around here...

The next five minutes of jogging was some trippy ass stuff. It's hard as hell to explain if you've never experienced it or at least (in my case) think you've experienced it. Has anyone else had a runner's high?

At the very loving least, everyone needs to pick up San Andreas for $3.74, that's a loving deal. Probably the best one I've ever seen on Steam, if you take the time I spent on that game and divide it across price, that's 11 cents an hour, or roughly 220 times more entertainment time per price than a song off of iTunes.

ergo, if a 3 minute song was lengthened to 42 hours long, it would cost $831. You're getting around 42 hours of entertainment for $3.74.

Whenever I'm sitting, I basically feel this urge to bounce one or both of my legs up and down, basically by going on the toes of my feet and shaking my leg up and down. I don't have this problem at night, but during the day, I can get antsy and feel the need to move my legs.

Can anyone relate to this?

Le titre parles pour lui-meme. Est ce que tu parles Francais? Si oui, es que tu etes Francais, ou a est-ce que tu apprendes francais dans ecole? J'ai deux ans de Francais, et maintenant dans mon troisieme ans de Francais, nous seulement parlons francais dans classe. Je ne suis pas le mieux orateur de Francais (j'ai tres mal grammaire, non?) mais j'aime parler francais. Et vous?

Hey folks. I need to more or less render a large batch of CDs unreadable. I figure the best way of do this is to take a key and just make a grid of scratches all over the read side of the CD. Will this do the trick?

Games / Weird as hell STALKER glitch.

*WARNING. SPOILERS BELOW.

In the last mission of Call of Pripyat, right after I meet Strelok and everyone goes in for the dialog, Kovalsky says about one line of dialog and then everything cuts out. It's just silent except for the atmospheric noise. This goes on for what I assume is the normal length of the dialog. Then everyone breaks for the emission. I wait out the emission, and I can't open the previously locked door. There's no dialog options on any of the NPCs to advance the story to the final mission. Anyone know how to fix this?

Off Topic / 23" or 24"?

Hey folks. I'm trying to decide between a 23" and 24" Dell. They both appear to be exactly the same (same resolution (1080p) same contrast ratio, same response time, same overall design) except the 23" is $20 and obviously one inch smaller diagonally. What are your guys' thoughts on this? Some other info is that I have the money for the 23" right now and the 24"s don't pop up much on the Dell refurbished resale area (but there is a 23" there right now).
