I know it's not my place to do this, but can I say that you guys should take your Nintendo trivia game somewhere else?

An excellent suggestion Sirrus.

Sorry but that tower is way too simple. The build you submit should have depth, shapes, corners, even a style that is new to us.

Anything boxy will be turned down. Anything too~ simple will also be turned down.

And this isn't even a final version, I've got some more things planned for the final version, and if you want to keep tabs on it, I'll be updating the gallery thread plenty, so hopefully I can build it into something that's MotE worthy.

It has pretty good substance, but the crystals kind of ruin it, they look kind of random and need work.
I would have to play it to really get a feel for what the composition of the tunnels and stuff are, but it looks good from the screen shots.
But my advice would be to either work on the crystals or remove them.
they look loads better when they're flashing and swirling around- you really should visit the server
I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and take your word for it.

I am addressing the spam issue, I'm in the process right now of re-walling the entire building.
I'm about 25% done right now, I've cut the brick count down from about 11,300 to 9,000

Edit: I'm like 90% done and I've cut it down from 11,300 to about 4,500-5,000

Even if the bricks are used for macros, you could easily make a macro out of bigger bricks!
I know, it's more that if I did it with like 4x1x5s, there would be that one block of overhang that had to be filled with a 1x1x5, and when I'm doing a macro, since I have to stay put, it was just easier to do it with a 1x1x5

You could use bigger bricks. The constant use of 1x1s and 1x1x5s kills it.
1x1x5 was the main block used, 1x1s was only used because when I built the entire thing, I used macros where the entire thing was pre-built, meaning there was a double 36x36 between floors, and because I added the training rooms non-macro, it was easier to use 1x1s in the macro (one column, not the entire thing pre-fab) instead of measuring out 1x1x5s and and 1x1f to fill in the gaps.

Anyway, I know it is kind of spammy, and I might come back through on some of the floors I haven't furnitured and make the walls out of bigger bricks, It's just when I was building it, I've run into some problems before using bigger bricks, and It was just easier to use 1x1x5s, I really didn't foresee the problem of massive lag.

And once you get inside, it's not that bad.

Nestled deep inside a canyon in Colony Canyons, The Sirrus Residence is my current masterwork, with a definite 30+ hours logged in making this, in my opinion, my best work. feel free to give an x/10, along with constructive criticism.
And note: I know it's spammy.


The house rising from the depths of the canyon, about 140-150 feet if my calculations are correct


The residence was lit during exterior construction with the Sun, but was eventually changed to small exterior light fixtures for aesthetics and lag reduction



The main tower is 13 floors high, rising about 90' out of the craterous canyon


The observation deck adds a solid 30'-40' to the height of the residence



The complex is comprised of the main tower, four storage rooms on the back, two garages on the side, a training room extending off the fourth floor of the storage tower, and a training complex wrapping around underneath the training room around to the north side of the tower


The four vehicle lower garage consists of a go-kart, jeep, stunt buggy, and a moped with a separate exit.


A bi-plane is also parked above the four cars.


The four story training complex consists of a series of platforms and barriers where bots can be spawned to hone skills


The training room can have barriers placed to one's preferences and bots spawned for CQC training


A robust and abundant weapons room can be found on the fourth floor of the storage tower.


Moving inside the residence tower, a cozy first floor features a fireplace, couch, and a place to set your shoes.


Moving up to the second floor, a small kitchen awaits you.


Moving yourself, and the food, up, a robust dining room featuring seating for ten awaits.


After eating, a small and comfortable library awaits you.


My penthouse bedroom, featuring only a large bed and beautiful views, is located on the top floor.


And finally, the Pièce de résistance, a small observation deck offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape, drawing flush with the canyon.

So that's it as of now. Tell me what you think.

Okay, I have a box, tower, of sorts, and I would like to know if this is one of the qualifications for getting eaten alive.

Here's a pretty recent picture.

The tower isn't even near completion, but it's pretty close to it's final structural form.

If the outside is less than fantastic; think of it like this:
The inside is amazing.
As soon as I finish the thing, I'm going to be doing a short movie with facts and figures, along with plenty of pictures.

And the build is at about 10,000 bricks right now, I think... It's definitely at about 9,400 but I've done a lot of work since the last count.
