The concept of not having free will falls under the purview of philosophy and therefore is a highly academic opinion. You cannot argue with the fact that you are the only one responsible for whether or not you're happy with the life you're living.

Scientifically, this is complete bullstuff. However you might get a point because you posting this might improve someone's life, if you're lucky.
Uhm. This whole post makes no sense, esp the bolded part. Are you just mashing words and adverbs together to sound more dignified?

and look, quite honestly I think everyone should be hit over the head with this repeatedly. Yet it's one of those things that you don't really "get" until you arrive at it on your own (and some people don't, I think). So regardless, I'm going to say it because it needs to be said to you brats:

You are the only person that's responsible for the quality of your life, ultimately. If you don't enjoy school, it's because you haven't been able to figure out how to suck a meaningful experience out of it. If you don't have money, get a job. If you think you're fat or unattractive or whatever, work out.

Complaining gets you nowhere. Walking into the echo chamber of the internet and bitching about how unfair life is to you is the most unproductive and useless attempt at improving your life. Things get done by loving -doing- them, not talking about them or thinking them, but actually doing the work. You won't get rich putting in a couple hours a week at some skill. You won't get slim by going to the gym once. You have to have the determination and the nerve to carve out a lifestyle of self improvement for yourself- you need to get up every day and suck the marrow out of life, learn from every experience, think critically about what you do with every hour of your day, and loving improve your life.

Here's the two greatest things you can learn from school:

1) Learn how to work hard even when the work you're doing is bullstuff.
2) Learn how to interact with other humans in a comfortable manner.

Everything subject based should be learned at your own discretion. If you want to learn more about sciences, don't loving expect to be spoon-fed it in the classroom; get out there and goddamn learn science regardless of whatever the school teaches you.

You're clearly failing on the first aspect by the way. I used to bitch about school but then I realized that it doesn't matter how much I complain, there are certain things that petulance will not fix (hint: anything), and many many many things that you can't understand at whatever low double digit age you are.

This is a photograph, but it doesn't have even a little bit of color in it because the world was black and white where I took it.

You shouldn't be caring about how physically attractive you are at 12.

Focus on staying in shape and worry about that stuff when you're all growed up. You're a child.

Walked around a few nights ago and did night photography handheld. The images don't hold up quality wise under scrutiny, but they're pretty cool looking at in and of themselves. It was raining so a tripod would've been (actually even without rain) a huge pain in the ass. Regardless my D700 can shoot -fairly- comfortably even in low light up to 4,500 soooooo, you know 8=========>

will post more if'ns y'all are int'rested.

GROVE 4 LIFE

I am so excited for this game. If it's not on PC I will probably buy an xbox or PS3 to play this.

Thread should be called, for everyone except me and the <1% of the active forumers past the age of majority who stick around for what I can only assume is a relentless parade of self-esteem boosts, "if you could be friends with any forumer right now, who would you pick?"

When I was a really young kid, this game used to scare me too much to play it, especially towards the end. I stuff you not.
