I chose the AMD Phenom II for my custom built computer, but I need to know a good graphics card and motherboard.GTX 260 has served me well. It maxes out and runs perfectly most everything. There are still a few games it can't quite max out (Just Cause 2 and ARMA 2 come to mind) and it doesn't have DX11, but other than that for the price it's a great card,

Guys I have a confession to make...
I only know how to write TI BASIC; the simplest programming language known to man. After seeing The Social Network and feeling totally inadequate about my proficiency in manipulating computers, networks, websites, and general computer knowledge and I want to know where to start. C++ just seems like a damn huge thing to tackle, especially for a more or less hobby thing at this point. I really want to learn how to do crazy computer programming and web design stuff, but have no idea where to start.
