This is loving awesome, albeit insanely expensive.

Most definitely Zappa. I'm not a big Grateful Dead fan.
you are now on my cool list.

Not live though. It would have been amazing to see them.
Yes. Also, Frank Zappa and the Grateful Dead.

I can actually count my kills D: and sad part is I remember each one, which is bad for how good I normally do at FPS games.
Meh, I kind of like it. If I can put my CoD4 "45-15" K/D pride on the shelf and be OK with getting 5-10 as a recon then those five kills (if that, in some games) can be really satisfying. Honestly, it feels amazing to land a shot down in the city in Africa Harbor from the hill right by the US Deployment in, well obviously, the same map.

Bump for got around to playing it.

it's a very involved game, but as I said it's a very different approach to strategy games. There's a lot of micromanaging beforehand, and if you don't put a lot of though into it, you will lose. Once you lose there's even MORE data about how each of your units performed so that you can tweak and try it again. If you're into that, it's definitely worth $5 and there's more than enough content to keep you buy for a long while.

I would never want to drive one, I'd always be afraid I'd stall in the middle of an intersection.
You get used to it, it really is like riding a bike though obviously much different and barely comparable.

If you understand the principle behind it it's a bit easier to understand what makes it stall out and how to avoid it.

I don't know how long this feeling lasts, and this may be just me, but pretty much every kill I've gotten in this game has been tremendously satisfying thus far.

Do you downshift through all the gears when approaching a stop?
Yeah, try to. At least one of the times I stalled out, though, I know that I was in second gear.
What is it with teenage boys and driving stick shifts? For some reason my brother really love driving stick, even though he says it's annoying as hell :|
Because it's really loving cool. You have a lot more control over how the car drives and it's cool if you can do it flawlessly.

Today was my first day out. There was plenty of lurching and lugging, but I only stalled out the engine two or three times when I was out of the parking lot that I learned in.

Honestly though, I did not expect getting the car moving and the engine engaged to be such an involved process. I thought the difficult stuff would be shifting but the annoying stuff is getting the engine engaged and throttling up at the same time and in good balance.

forget yes.

Driving is pretty damn awesome, but driving a stick shift is ten times better. Does anyone else here drive stick?

yeah it's fun. Prepared to be extremely frustrated for the first couple of days (in play time) you play it. Everyone is better than you.
