Honestly, the name and the tagline: "Who needs backstory? Who needs resource-gathering? Diplomacy is so last year" in my opinion are reason enough to buy this game. Seriously though, I think I'm going to nab this for $6.24 for the game and the DLC. Looks pretty good; it takes a fresh approach to strategy games and really seems to be not another fairly generic and annoyingly complex RTS.

Honestly I think if anyone is qualified to call teenagers these days handicapped, it's other teenagers. I don't even care if I'm part of the group that I'm criticizing: anybody between 12 and 18 in the US of A is probably a lot stupider than their parents when they were the same age.

Unfortunately I most likely won't be able to make it to Friday's party, as I had a prior social engagement. Duckmeister and hopefully Diggy will be taking over various responsibilities for that day and I'll be back for Saturday's festivities if nothing comes up.

Let's see, why would I pissed at BC2?

When I'm playing the following classes/strategies, it's usually why:

Assault:

People with better guns that have been playing since the game came out and can kill you with two shots.
People that use M60's with magnum ammo.
Long range snipers using the M82 and magnum ammo and can kill you in one hit on a torso shot

Short range recon:

Everyone that has a 4x scope and can take you out from a medium distance with an assault rifle
Long range snipers

Without exaggeration, the hardest shooting I've ever done in a video game is from the US Deployment in Africa Harbor to around the Alpha firebase. Those are some of the most challenging shots of any video game I've ever played. Even disregarding the ludicrous range of the shots, there's a low chance that anyone actually is in a position that you can get a headshot or two bodyshot. Most of the time I end up just marking enemies so I get mark points and trying to get a bodyshot so I can get assist points.
Other long range snipers.

The way I sum up that game is that you can't be good without good guns and you can't get good guns without being good.
