Yeah I guess they said that about CS:S when it came out, too :\

Seriously though, I loving hate the stupid community that's developed around TF2 hats and TF2 items. It feels like Valve's games were absolute art in the highest order and they stooped down to some disappointing level to make their games more "accessible" or some stupid stuff like that.

I can almost assure you all that all serious players will still be playing CS:S.

JUST LIKE GOD INTENDED.

Yeah, you have to knock the player out to get their item.

Okay, this will have you stuffting in no time.

Tomorrow morning when you wake up, drink two large glasses of water, eat a banana, drink a cup or two of black coffee, and then do some jumping jacks.

There's no way this is going to be good.

CS:S might be the world's only flawless game, its had the same formula since 1998 and of the hundreds of thousands (millions?) who play it, no one seems to be complaining

It's called practice, lol. It takes more skill to be able to do tricks with a dual-edged one than it does with a single-edged one.

This is the butterfly knife I have, except not my picture;

But there's tricks that would literally be impossible with both edges sharpened. Like, any trick where you roll over the thumb.

Unless part of the trick is tolerating the pain of knives cutting into your skin.

That's an armor piercing one. I dislike those, I like the dual-edged ones.
You mean both sides of the blade are sharpened?

You couldn't do almost any tricks without cutting yourself.

I got pretty good a while ago. I could do all the rudimentary "advanced" tricks like Behind the Eight Ball and I was fairly confident with all the rollovers and stuff. I never got into really ridiculous stuff like scissoring though, and I dunno. I kind of lost interest after my knife broke down and wasn't good for flipping.

same stuff.
Not really at all. You set up a waterproof point and shoot camera in the rain and pressed record and then spliced the clips together and added some ill fitting music.

I took a thousand dollar camera, set up the light in almost every shot, focused every shot by hand, adjusted exposure settings, set up the composition of each shot, and then spent a couple hours editing all the pictures.

The pigs from Angry Birds are not a villain. Angry Birds is closer to a toy than a real game in the sense of video games as an artistic/storytelling outlet.
