Massive is a fantastic program I use on most of my new tracks. One of the most flexible synths you can buy, up there with Sylenth1 and Harmor.

double post for being considerate
Ghost, that was great except for the fact that the chords overrode the melody bit.
that's a problem with how the sidechaining was set up and entirely my fault for duplicating the original synth track :C

I never did an all-nighter until this summer, when I did two. And only because it was ridiculously hot in my room.

you're poor, so you bought four monitors?
One was the monitor I bought for my desktop and is decent, two are really old 1280x1024 monitors we've had since 2004, and one is a cheap-ass TV I got somewhere.

Back again. This time with my desktop. My god, is it glorious.

5520 pixels wide. Tallest monitor is 1024 pixels (I'm poor and stuff)

And Windows refuses to activate for me so this won't stay set up :(

Just my contribution to this topic.

My desktops go through a rotation of various pictures. This includes Spoderman (a classic), Chris Hansen from any of the four corners, and some other stuff.

Also, originally 1600x900. Photobucket sucks.

Off Topic / Re: First Man on the Moon Neil Armstrong dies at 82
« on: August 26, 2012, 01:15:44 AM »
my clan, Invalid Gaming, hosted a memorial ceremony yesterday on our Moonbase Alpha server. Everybody in attendance showed their respects to the man who made practically everything seem possible.

It is my belief that nobody's passing should be mourned. It is a poor choice of words. I respect Neil Armstrong as much in death as I respected him alive. He helped change the world, and that is all somebody could wish to do in their lifetime.  It's like being sad because your faithful old dog, who you've been friends with for most of your life, dies. You have no choice but to miss them, but you know that they had lived a good life, and one can only do so much in their lifetime. I, personally, believe that if one dies before they have the chance to live to their potential, that is a truly sad event. This may seem a bleak, cynical world view, but in the end, you only have to live up to one person's hopes and expectations: yourself.

So here's to a man who lived a hero and died a legend. Somebody we could look up to, not just as an icon of progress, but a sincerely good person.

Apple juice is okay. I'm not much for the watered-down taste of some companies' juice, but when you buy the right kind it's pretty good. I usually go for cider.

If you really want to not be addicted to apple juice, watch little monsters. Trust me.

Milk is bad for you!
It has hormones in it that ruin your body! Some organic milk has no hormones, but other than that, IT IS BAD FOR YOU!

Not the whole story. The hormones are for helping newborn and infant mammals grow. But after a certain point, milk won't have an effect/have negative effects.

I'm sorta forced to drink milk since I'm in high school and therefore living with my parents who are brown town about this sort of thing. When I move out, I don't think I'll buy much milk. Maybe for cooking, but that's about it. I have never broken a bone in my life and while I'm sure that's partly attributed to drinking milk when I was, like seven, but otherwise, it's my reflexes.

Once, I had the great idea to drink an entire glass of milk. I can't see how people enjoy the taste.

Off Topic / Re: Pop - How often do you drink it?
« on: August 24, 2012, 09:14:08 PM »
unless I forget, one can a day. That's evened out by my habit of drinking water at my desk. And when watching TV. And pretty much all day. I drink a lot of water. Also tea, being incredibly Irish and all. But never coffee.

For everyone privleged enough to shop for their own groceries: find pineapple soda. Best soda flavor ever. It's what I drink if I'm not drinking Mountain Dew, or Pepsi (any variety of each).

A drawing for a series I'm working on. It's one of the roughest drawings I've done recently because I don't have a lot of money for good programs. Manga Studio just doesn't cut it.

Drawn in 2 1/2 hours. If I put in that extra half-hour it could be a lot cleaner.

this... yeah.
