I have a lot of old games I want to play, but the oldest console I have is an N64. I see a bunch of NESs on eBay from reputable sellers at the $60-or-so mark, up to $100 with games and some accessories.
But, that could get expensive if I want an SNES or other old stuff. I would imagine that something like the Retron-3 would be good for what I want, but I sorta want retro.
So what's better? the NES that is really retro but the pins sometimes mess up and I would need other consoles, or a multi-console system that is top-loading?

I thought that watching this would help me realize what this song meant to pop culture.
It had the opposite effect.
Personally, I'm a classic rock/Metal person, but I do have some old (I mean CLASSIC, by the way) hip/hop before it took itself seriously. Those times were when the genre was at a peak.

I like the first Halo for gameplay.
Reach is good for MP.
ODST is good for nothing. Except rage.
2 and 3 weren't really outstanding except for graphics.

I love this game, but just like every game on the engine, it takes a year to kill anything, even with absurdly overpowered weapons.
I've got a standard NCR trooper and an Assault Rifle. I was consistently getting headshots. It took 5 shots to get his head crippled, and I ended up running out of ammo and finishing him off with a power fist.
NV is supposed to be harder, but this is just unrealistic. I should be able to get a headshot with something like an assault rifle that instantly kills a normal human without a helmet.
