Off Topic / I'm Joining the Army

If any of you remember I was going to go into the military after high school but I needed a medical waiver for latent TB(tested positive on skin test) and the medical waiver was disqualified barring me from service for 2 years. A year ago I did a quantiferon blood test that came up negative(negative means no latent or active TB) which means the skin test was just a fluke or a false positive.

I chose the army because I liked the sound of Cryptologic Network Warfare Specialist. I just did my ASVAB test today and am very pleased to have gotten a 95 and over 130 on all proficiencies(you only need 110 in any proficiency and only 31 on ASVAB) which means I am eligible for every single job in the entire military excluding officer jobs.
Anyway I will probably update next week when I do my medical and pick my job.

I know Bones is in the Air Force but is there any other current or future soldiers? Also feel free to wish me luck or hope I die in combat, whatever floats your boat!

I don't know if there has been a topic like this but I really have to get this off my chest because I am literally punching myself in the face nonstop as earlier today I made the biggest, stupidest, most handicapped mistake ever in my life yet and I will probably be haunted by it for the rest of my life. Here is the story in semi-4chan style:

Work as a landscaper currently
Mowing a very big soccer field with a large mower
Prettiest girl I've ever seen walks bye and smiles and waves at me, I return it and go about my business not thinking much of it
She comes back later with starbucks and tells me "Hey I got you a starbucks"
"Wow thanks thats so nice of you"
"It's going to be a hot day and you're working hard so I thought you could use a drink"
"Oh the work isn't that bad it's just walking"
"Yea I bet you come home smelling like grass clippings, I bet your girlfriend loves it."
"Oh I don't have a girlfriend."
"Oh... well nice meeting you I have to get home now."
"Okay thanks again see ya"
She starts walking away real slowly and she even stops and looks back at me 2 or 3 times
I do nothing and go back to mowing
5 minutes later the light in my head goes off GOD loving DAMN IT COULD SHE HAVE MADE IT MORE OBVIOUS OH MY GOD YOU loving MORON

Been thinking about it all day I even mowed really slow the rest of the time and stayed there a while just praying she would come back and I could right the horrible wrong. Please people call me a loving moron and beat me with sticks so I may never forget this lesson. Also post similar stories of your stupidity, asperger mode like mine preferred.

Right now it's $20 and you get a spare copy so commence the begging to get everyone's extra copy, I'm probably not going to buy it I am running a little low on cash and I still have to buy christmas presents for a few people so I gotta put myself on the back burner ):

About the game a bit:
It's dedicated PVP there is no PVE aspect. There is not really any gear aspect everyone is the same power at every level I think the levels are more for bragging and unlocking more customization such as appearance. Right now I believe there is 3 game modes a team deathmatch and 2 objective based game modes. People say the PVP is extremely fast paced and very smooth feeling.

I will probably polish this main post up a lot if the topic gets a lot of interest.

Just made up fake child names for me and Kitty in another topic and this idea just bursted into my head. If you want you can put a few serious ones and a few joke ones(90% of you will probably post only joke ones)

Lincoln for boy(I want a son I can call Link like a total nerd)

Games / Legend of Grimrock~ Visage is streaming it(Maybe)

Legend of Grimrock is a new game on Steam that is like an oldschool DOS RPG game where you dungeon crawl and can only move on a grid but with enhanced graphics. Control 4 characters and gear and level them up and defeat monsters with real time combat where you can actually dodge manuever. It also has a magicka style magic system where you can use 1-3 runes to make unique spells.

Every night that I do put this on I will be taking suggestions and we will be voting on which movie to see.

Close one. Any of you struggle with bandwith caps? Damn free month of Netflix watched 3 seasons of jersey shore and 4 seasons of law and order SVU and 5 movies and watched a lot of streams. I had to do like nothing for 3 days to make sure I didn't go over.

Games / Tera - Asian MMO with naked 8 year old chicks

I'll keep it short Tera is an action based MMO in which you actually have to aim your skills and dodge and block attacks in real time, no just hitting 1-2-3 the focus is twitch play with fast reflexes and quick action. The game is beautifully done, it is kind of a mix between realistic and cell-shaded in a way that I love. The races and classes have lots of customization to them and the classes are a little more unique than most MMOs (like what I am a lancer which is a tank that uses a lance and a big shield to literally stand in front and take the blows while the team hides behind him). The game also has no factions so the PVP is going to be more focused on guilds fighting and FFA groups forming than alliance vs horde 1 side always wins bullstuff most MMOs have.

Here is a pic of my guy, he may be a little intimidating I made him scary on purpose because I wanted to inspire fear in my enemies.



His name is hugglewuggles which is a name I also picked to inspire fear in my enemies.

Here I am war dancing to let everyone know not to forget with me, most of them started dancing back which makes me believe they were so scared they decided to copy me in an effort to please me.



And here I assert my dominance by beating up the toughest guy on the island, the dreaded king pigling.

I think I am finally ready to get into SC2 and actually become good at it. I've played it like 30 minutes here and there once a month or so and could never get into it but now I want to try because I am bored of MMOs and want to get into more competitive skill-based games. I'd like to get as much BLers I can to play with to practice with maybe do some 2v2 or 3v3 just have a fun time.

Or trying to anyway. Someone is trying to guess my e-mail secret question answer and since this is the only forum I go to it has to be one of the members. Protip for the culprit: I don't forget my password so my secret question answers are always either unrelated to the question at all or sometimes even gibberish i wouldn't even be able to guess.
