Beachbum has a job, goes to college, is a marine, and spends 3 out of the 4 weeks in a month in random countries vacationing, all while being on the forum every day for hours. How does he find the time?

Money wasn't a consideration for me, I do most of my stuff on a PC laptop nowdays. I've got a MacBook I use for video and graphical editing (to coin a stereotype), an old G3 iMac and Clamshell I tinker with for fun, and a hackintosh I'm building.

Our PC desktop had really stupid hardware with drivers that are non-existent anymore (vendor pulled them) and all my old laptops running Windows failed after a few years. This is why my confidence in that hardware is waning.

Don't PCs and macs get hardware parts from the same companies? Why would hardware failure on PC be more likely than hardware failure on a mac? The only different factor I could see there that would cause a difference would be user error.

No like, you really have no idea what you're talking about.

Assumed height = the national average height for a woman in this case. And in which case, I could say that the girl you're standing next to is actually a lawn gnome who stands at 3'5" and that would only make you a head taller than her. And just to quote you again;

Actually I was judging based on body structure and the surrounding objects. I think I can guesstimate how tall a chair is. Sometime's stuff that seems so obvious and simple to me baffles the less fortunate I guess, you guys even think it's magic and random guessing it's kinda cute.

No.

You pay for the design, the stable integration, the build quality, the support. You need to better understand Apple's philosophy.

When you get a Mac you don't have to worry about the power of the hardware, because its pre-picked to work. When you get a PC there are so many variations and it all affects the software performance. That is Windows strong point and big failure.

Windows supporters don't get this.

The best of both worlds is to do what I do and own both. Then you lose out on nothing.

Are you purposely being dense? I will try to put this as simple as I can:

most people am buy mac for be easy, no buy for other stuffz

I'm in Portland visiting reletives right now, I just went skiing on Mt. Hood today.
wanna forget?

Mmmm maybe.

Visage is like a full blown handicap and believes average height means every woman must be that tall.

That didn't even make sense but I don't expect much from a try-hard that can't even muster up the intelligence to troll on an autism abuse thread.

Take drunk me next to unknown relative last halloween that is 5'7 or 5'8. That is tall. Beachbum barely taller than assumed 5'5 or 5'6 roly polly chick =/= 6'3. Just sayin the math don't add up.

If you're 6'3 that means that chick is like 5'11 and I found that doubtful.

I'm merely pointing out that most mac users paid double for the same hardware simply because they wanted a simple to use OS. The large large majority of people buy macs because they wanted the easiest OS possible. That is why people tend to say that mac is for idiots or technologically impaired, because it is true. You 2 can argue that mac is so fast and super duper fancy shmancy but you completely missed my point.

All of that is silly.

I'd say more Windows users don't know anything about computers, because Windows dominated the market for so long that most people in the last several years were just plopped onto a PC, never picked it up well, and have no idea about alternatives.

Just because Mac OSX is designed to be "intuitive" and less cluttered doesn't mean its for idiots. In fact most of the time this simplicity allows users to get more done and quickly pick up the basics of computing that allow them to move onto other computing environments.

I think the most apt users are Linux users because their system is so shoddy and broken that to do anything you have to use console just about everyday.

The only benefit to using a mac over a PC is if you are not smart enough to use "complicated" windows, hence why people claim it is just for idiots.

If you don't laugh at Otis' joke posts, you take them too seriously.  Now Jimmg on the other hand is still a tryhard though...

Yea I was rofling at what Otis was saying until Jimmg came in try-harding with 0 funniness and totally killed it.

I don't know if anyone knows this but Otis actually works as a teacher aide LOL. He may have said it in 10 or so pages I missed.

I bet his mom hates him.

It would also be much more successful and efficient without people like Otis.

Can you back that up with any reasoning?
