Most people assume microsoft is going to have some sort of steam-like application built into windows 8, I'd like to assume it will be awesome but knowing Microsoft it will probably be awesome yet poorly optimized and very expensive. It isn't just for games though it will be more like how linux works.

« on: March 20, 2011, 04:38:42 PM »You realize the slogan for half of this game's advertisements is "We're not in Azeroth anymore"? Of course WoW isn't the first. The developers, however, have made it blatantly obvious they've targeted WoW in significant ways.
WoW holds the majority of MMO subscribers. And the "we aren't in azeroth any more" is just a joke to catch peoples eyes, it isn't insulting to anyone, but it is something most MMO players can relate to and get a laugh out of. It is good marketing, and no where does it say "Rift: Better than WoW and WoW Sucks Balls" in their ads.

The example was HUUUGE. Besides I am sure you are referring to the combat system, I was referring to that all of them are RPGs. A lot of MMOs have different combat systems but they fit into Rkynicks argument, which is the exact reason ToP is on there. You're also welcome that I graced your ignorance with a clarification post.

I put the cookie monster so monocle wouldn't let his narcissism assume I made this joke merely because I am so jealous and insecure of him, instead of because I am mean and like to make mean jokes at others expense.

I'll be willing to admit the day was awesome to you and special. But no one can take any tips or tricks off reading that was my point. It was a generic date, people would benefit more if you had shown some cool stuff you said that made her wet, or if you jumped in front of a bullet for her.
