Why do video game companies have to be responsible for making sure kids don't play their games? As long as they have some kind of rating system or warning it is for mature players only, then the responsibility falls entirely on the parents.

You'll have to go there and just see, last time I went to best buy they had a laptop for $700 with a 9800m card, 4 gigs of ram, and an intel core2duo. They said it was the last one and that is very nice for only $700. Hopefully you can find a similar deal, as best buy rarely has laptops that even have a graphic card let alone a decent gaming one.

If you like customizing wouldn't Gentoo be a much better option than Arch, I thought Arch was meant to be bare minimum, not customizable.

I just ran the wubi loader and it installed 10.10 fine, no problems so far. I am so rusty on linux though last time I used it was ubuntu 8 I think. Also bin files aren't working properly. I am using chmod a+x first and the when I try to run a bin just doing ./binname.bin it says failed to extract ): I am guessing that is user error though somehow. Also I could have sworn there was a program you could download called like package manager that allowed you to just double click .bins and they would extract, if anyone can help me out with that that would be nice, google is no help. Also when I right click .jars and make them executable how do I execute them? Google oddly won't help with that either.

EDIT: Nvm about the executing jar files, I had to restart after getting java and now it has the option to execute with java.

Bump.

Downloaded the new Ubuntu to see how far it's come since I last used it like 3 years ago, I booted it from CD and went to connect wirelessly to my internet, I typed in my WEP key and it kept disconnecting and reconnecting rapidly with the internet not working, every 20 seconds it would ask to re-enter the key, trying to run any program on it gave an input/output error, and eventually it froze up completely and for some odd reason had tiny screens from starcraft 2, which I played like 2 days ago on windows. I restarted and then it just had a loading bar endlessly and wouldn't reboot. I really wish I could be a linux guy but it is still a piece of stuff ):

so what if ephi did it. its funny and its not of importance here in the blockland forums. (other then being entertaining)
trying to attack ephi's reputation with this issue only makes you all look stupid. ephi never claimed to be ethical and nice. nor does he have to be for any reason.

Also I am not getting your point at all, probably because you failed to bring one. Ephi harassed someone and because it is funny this topic shouldn't exist? Also how is it not important to the Blockland forums when it happened on Blockland? I wouldn't really call it attacking his reputation as his reputation before this was always that he was abusive, stuck-up, and egotistical. Yes ephi never claimed to be ethical and nice, your point? He doesn't have to be ethical or nice, your point? I don't have to rape your mother but if I did, am I free and clear for never claiming I wouldn't rape your mother?
