Games / Dungeon Defenders- Coming Soon!
« on: January 05, 2011, 03:48:23 PM »

The game puts players in the role of one of four distinctive hero classes, tasked with fending off hordes of invading beasties by strategically summoning a variety of Defenses & Traps throughout their castle. But as much more than just a strategy game, players directly participate in the action-packed combat with their hero characters, while upgrading their statistics, gathering tons of loot and inventory items, customizing & upgrading equipment, and developing unique class abilities. All of this can be enjoyed in seamless online and split-screen local multiplayer, as players cooperate and compete through the story campaign and challenge missions to build the strongest heroes and achieve the highest scores in the kingdom.

Combining the depth of strategic gaming with the satisfying action of RPG character building, in a beautifully stylized ‘toon fantasy setting, Dungeon Defenders is designed to be a distinctly addictive, easy-to-play experience for casual and hardcore gamers alike!

Classes

Apprentice

Donning his robe and wizard hat, the Apprentice is eager to delve deeper into the world of the arcane. Under the guidance of the Grand Magus, the Apprentice has learned the art of conjuration. While summoning towers of mystical defense to aid him, he blasts his enemies with waves of magic from a far.

Huntress

Trained in reconnaissance, the sleek and slender Huntress deploys deadly traps and explosives, but don’t let her physique perplex you. This elegant she‐devil is trained in ranged weaponry and is sure to always hit her mark. Raining down arrows and ammo from above, the enemy never sees her coming.

Monk

The Monk, a once peaceful and passive student, has been called from his solitary meditation and forced to take up arms in the defense of his land. Only he, through his expert spear fighting skill, can avenge the death of his master. Channeling his aura energies to heal allies and cripple foes, the Monk is the ultimate team asset.

Squire

A brave knight‐in‐training, the Squire upholds the honor and nobility of his kingdom with every slice of his blade. Building defenses of brute force the Squire prefers melee weapons as his instruments of justice. Bludgeoning spikes and whirling blades unleash the rage he bestows upon his foes.

the left one is slighty darker
and the right one is softer

That's what I see too. I actually did my research paper for senior year on this type of crap. Although video games can make you slightly better at problem solving, the consequences don't make it worth it. Constant video gamers have very low patience and are more capable of anger outbursts, they have focus problems usually diagnosed as ADD or ADHD. Gamers usually have horrible vision at far distances due to how a monitor works. Gamers have a much harder time feeling satisfaction and accomplishment due to how video games causes constant streams of dopamine, actually forming physical addiction. Also playing video games or watching T.V. a lot, even if your outside activities exceed how often you do it, causes a significantly higher chance of social disorders such as anxiety and panic attacks, anti-social mind-states, and paranoia.

Rats can sense when you're a little bitch, and take advantage of it. If you were a real man like me a rat would sense it and be too afraid to come within a 2 mile radius of your house. All my neighbors thank me every day for being such a bad ass.

I really don't want to argue anymore, can we talk about the damn game? I also request to Visage, if you have nothing positive to contribute, what's the point in even saying anything? You don't always have to be right.
Kind of funny coming from the person obviously wrong trying so hard to be right.

I had a dream that me and freinds had beer, did drugs, then had a love orgy.
Man, that was a good dream. Also it was the night after I had heard of this topic.

Gay love dreams are the bomb.

I'm gonna name my kid Lincoln so I can call him Link for a nickname. I do like the name Spike but all the other kids will just make dog jokes all the time.

Mage rules!! i wish i was more like him, and i will try.

You have a pretty low ambition if wish to be nicer on the internet. If you ask me actions are more important, going to random topics in off-topic on a lego game spamming "<3" and "love you all" isn't superior in anyway to someone who is an starfish, they both are wasting their time accomplishing nothing. I'd have more respect for a guy that broke my nose and called me a friend if he cured cancer than a guy who tries to hug me all the time and is some fat slob sitting in his mom's basement. The whole "everyone should be more like mage" is just bullstuff and would even be detrimental to society.

Hey Visage, if you want, we could start up a place where I am. I've been going down rivers for probably an hour and I've only found one village which seemed abandoned.

PM your steam we will talk.

First of all, you mean imply at the end. I feel fine taking a low shot like that because you just said that it would be laughable to claim that I'm normal. What makes you so high and mighty? You're in the same boat we all are on this forum, so bugger off with your superiority complex.

Second of all, why the forget. I repeat, why the forget are we supposed to give this kid special treatment? No one is forcing him to be here, and I think it's safe to say that this is a more adult, or at least not kid-oriented community. It is not a place for nine year olds. You're dodging the simple fact that this isn't a place for a child, and trying to say that we're horrible people because we don't stop being a mature (mature in the sense that it's not a place for nine year olds) community the second someone that shouldn't be here, someone too young, walks in.

I didn't mean imply as you never really implied it, what I meant to say was I infer you think you are normal. Also you are still just making excuses as to why it is okay to flame a kid. Now you are stating a kid should know to not join a forum for a lego game, because he should know it is an adult only community(funny considering you aren't an adult, and you know almost everyone here isn't.) Everyone here is basically children that act like starfishs, and it is because of your reasoning it is like that. You aren't supposed to give him special treatment, you are just supposed to not be a friend, is that so hard to understand? I myself am superior in this certain area because I never flame for no reason, I never be a richard to kids who obviously can't even defend themselves, and I never try to corrupt little kids for fun. Sure I troll and be an ass sometimes but only to teenagers and up who know the internet, and are just being idiots when they know better.

I dunno if that was whoda or some unfunny comedian. Also it is pretty logical to disband when someone doesn't even know where a raid is. There is only 2 things that could have happened and both make sense. Number 1 is he made the raid and didn't even bother to do enough research before hand to know where it was, meaning he doesn't know any of the fights, no idea what to do, and is the leader. I would leave that raid instantly myself. The 2nd is that he joined and didn't know where it was, so they booted him, and he thought they disbanded.

You still have massively flawed reasoning. You just basically said everyone else is going to be an starfish to him so you might as well be an starfish to him first so he doesn't growing up thinking it is possible that some people aren't starfishs. Also I am not so much annoyed that he is a young kid and you guys are being horrible to him, it is more-so that you are being horrible to him because he is a young kid. It's like a game to you guys to see how fast you can mentally forget up a kid and turn him into you. Also you and everyone else around here isn't exactly what I want the current youth to be 5-8 years from now, so it would be nice if you could not infer you came out normal after growing up on the internet, it is pretty laughable.
