And again you're overexaggerating my statements on the subject of what you've said. I've only responded to things that you have literally actually said. I have made few assumptions except when I found them amusing (i.e. you calling yourself no one).
I understand what you mean. I'm telling you my take on it all. I'm also telling you how stupid you are.
I think if you want support from the community you have to stop generalizing them. More importantly, you should focus on countering what I've said directly instead of attacking me and anyone who even vaguely supports me.
You only make yourself look worse.
I don't need support from the 3 people that have already disliked me you consider "the community." The fact is you came into my thread to start arguments when you had no interest in the topic. I've never seen someone so content with themselves for being a stuffposter.

I'm really just too lazy to have an argument with a kid who basically is arguing game A is better than game B when he doesn't even like the genre. You all fell for his politician strategy where he assumes something about me that everyone would dislike, and then argues against it. He also started this whole pointless argument by assuming(yet again) when I said it was a potential WoW-killer, that I actually thought Blizzard's Offices were just going to explode and the game would shut down and everyone would die and the subscription base would drop to 0. You guys just get all excited when people say a lot of words and you generally believe whatever is being written.

You seem kind of lost now, like you just want the last word but have nothing new to say so you repeat everything 20x over. I am not even sure what your objective is now any more. I assume you are trying to reclaim some dignity you feel you lost. Regardless just get over it, basically you seem mad I enjoy this game, and for someone who has never tried it you seem 100% sure this is the worst WoW clone ever made or something.

I just love the concept of the rifts, like one time I was just questing killing some fire squirrel things and demonic wolves and all of a sudden the ground starts turning black and a vortex opens above me and within seconds like 20 other people are there and we are killing swarms of demons flying out and then a dragon boss spawned and we killed that, you get XP for all of it without having to group with eachother and you get loot in the end. It is like public quests for Warhammer Online but the Rifts seem to choose populated areas to spawn so it ensures lots of players will join. They plan to have raid zones later where the rifts just spawn gigantic raid bosses and the demons take over that area slightly faster. When I think of going to a zone with giant rifts killing raid bosses all day and protecting villages all day without having to join groups or worry about if I get loot it just sounds fun as hell. As long as this game has a big community which I think it will because the beta is getting great reviews and it is very polished for a beta, it will be nonstop fun. Also what I like about this game is the job system really allows for so much different builds, although I bet there will be a lot of OP builds that people tend to follow, I am sure with how much combinations are possible we are going to see new OP builds no one even knew about months after the game is released.

too long to read all of it, but first of all I never said it was a wow killer, I said it had potential to be, but of course pretending you can't read makes it a lot easier to argue your case. Then you assume more stuff about me like I think it is more likely to be a wow killer than not. Again you are arguing with a person you made up again. I like MMORPGs, I like classic MMORPGs, I like them to be all about hacking and slashing generic monsters and doing generic dungeons to get powerful gear that will make me better than other players. Everyone here on BL assumes that no one likes MMORPGs with grinding and questing, they are idiots and should never play MMORPGs. Also you guys just generalize them all and use vague descriptions to try to make them all look the same. WoW, LOTRO, Warhammer online, EQ2, EQ1, etc etc all have the same questing system, all have the same leveling system, they all are about getting gear and fighting generic monsters, yet it is the minor details that makes some superior to others. You seem confused on what an MMORPG is, an MMORPG is an MMO that is an RPG, if we get rid of levels and gear and go on a whole new model, we create a new genre. You obviously have never met a true MMORPG fan and you obviously aren't one yourself.
Also from now on can we keep this about people excited about Rift, and everyone that loves WoW and wants to bring WoW into this can go to the WoW thread?

Right about what, the paragraph was about how this is not a WoW killer, when no one stated it was, so good job. Even if he was saying it wasn't a WoW killer that is pure opinion and speculation and someone arguing on the other side would be just as likely to be right. The first thing he said was modern MMORPGs are horrible because they have levels and a health bar, which is just idiotic.
