I believe it takes record of your general hardware configuration and only takes exception to major changes in the configuration (IE. a new motherboard). You can still install it multiple times (if you need to reformat for example), but you are only authorized to use it on a single machine.waitwaitwait, so I have to buy a combo with it? There are none D;
The catch with OEM OS's is that they must be sold with some form of hardware.
This software is intended for pre-installation on a new personal computer for resale. This OEM System Builder Channel software requires the assembler to provide end user support for the Windows software and cannot be transferred to another computer once it is installed.how does it know what pc it was installed on?
