fallout 1-2 went bankrupt.
they have lots of fans.
it doesnt really matter how good the game is, it matters how many fans they have. halo 3 is terrible, and look at bungie corp, they are billionaires.

they went bankrupt you dumbass. The game was awesome. It's gonna come bck alive soon and I'll be happy faec.

Also ontop of that they lost half their dev team.

Oh there was also the dev diary which was written on the site that read "Hellgate London in the end didn't turned out as planned and wasen't what we wanted and doesn't show the studios full potential"

Translate that how you want but it pretty much means, we know we forgeted up on this game.
