No one wants to host a Team speak or Ventrilo server all the time
and for some people Skype can really lag up a game

but here is the easiest (but apparently not the very obvious) solution

Download steam it's free (if you don't already have it) - http://www.steampowered.com/
Make an account
Start a party chat (start a chat with a Blockland friend and invite others)
Then in your server, set the welcome message to something like this
"Hello, we are currently in a steam party to use voice chat, please add (steam name here) and join!"

Now the reason I'm saying use steam, is because it's a bit easier to use for most newer users
not only that, but because it uses less processing power than Skype, and won't lag up your game (as much)

that didn't work
my controls are fine

Q is still set to scroll

It's not that big of an issue though, but gets tedious after a while

but then again I haven't started up Blockland in about a week, So it might have to do with the fact that I'm not using it as frequently.

would it be possible to have a server script that upon hitting f (or whatever you have set to zoom)
your crosshair changes to a field of view restricting sniper scope like we see in first person shooters everyday?
If so, I just thought that would be pretty neat.

Help / My spawn bricks aren't working

When I start a minigame and set it to use spawn bricks I don't spawn on them
I have no idea what's causing them to do this

General Discussion / Setting add-ons for your sever - GUIDE

Now one thing we all hate when joining a server is having to download unnecessary add-ons
the main reason being, the host doesn't know how to turn add-ons off! or is just too lazy, but that's not an excuse.

Step 1:
First theirs an option to set the enabled add-ons for your server


most players notice this immediately but because they're naive they host a server with all of their add-ons enabled! O:



If you host a server with ALL of your add-ons enabled you should be hung by your ears and smacked in the face with an oar repeatedly until you learn not to. are making a simple mistake.

on the right there are options for auto selecting your add-ons
NEVER DO YOU EVER SELECT ALL WHEN HOSTING AN ONLINE SERVER
Instead go to the left and you see some check boxes.

say your hosting a Medieval server... and you have all these guns and vehicles enabled
THIS IS NOT GOOD
so scroll through your add-ons and uncheck all the ones that wouldn't fit the style of the server.
THIS IS GOOD

If you change server themes a lot that's also not and excuse
shut the server down and change the add-ons
and f you have an add-on your aren't using or going to use, shut down the server and disable it

thus concludes my guide.
