I was really thinking about different skins you could select in a player customize screen

different styled shirts

colored hair/skin

with the torque engine its very possible
maybe hue shifting

Me too lol. I simply made a cube, subsurfed it once and then just created edge loops to model the face. It takes a while but you eventually get it, as long as you know what you want to make.

Download sculptris
sculpt the face (very easy to learn btw)
use the polygon reduction tool to reduce the polycount
export to .obj
import the .obj into blender
