also, i'm not really that great at item scripts so i can't help you there, sorry.
for the static item, you should try to make it so that when they pick it up, it finds which slot the item is (for loop looping through the player's slots, getting the names of the weapons, checking if they're equal to your static item's name) then removing it from the slot. then, apply whatever happens when you use it. it seems a bit complicated, but trust me, once you get it it's pretty easy.

anyways, i'd have to take sides with bb on this. he has generally good judgement and while at some times can be a richard, he still does make good decisions and while he might not listen to every single request you have, you can't loving expect an admin to do that, they have their own judgement too.

as normal, make sure there's no syntax errors and such, but i think you know that.
try changing your datablock to the speed datablock (add a uiName for a little bit) and enter in the console echo(findclientbyname("yourname").player.datablock.getName()); and post the results.

at first i was a "friend" with him, he seemed pretty cool. then i was at one of his challenge servers and said "this isn't too hard." after i finished it, and sat down / crouched. he was apparently trying to be a douchebag because as i was sitting/crouching, he aimed for my head with destructo wand while someone was building behind me and held the mouse button down, thus breaking down the building we were standing on. then cape starts flipping out at me asking me why i wanded it even though i didn't. the guy ended up rebuilding it and i ended up leaving pretty soon afterwards because i realized how loving idiotic he was.
