this idea that you can’t criticize cops because you don’t know what you’d do in that situation is loving ludicrous and you should feel ashamed. the populous governs and relies on the police to protect them. knowing how to handle emergency situations and making split second decisions is a fundamental part of a cops training. i understand humans are prone to errors, but this idea that they deserve slack because “you don’t know what it’s like!!” is stupidthis. if the police are so prone to mistakes and panicking like the victims posted in the thread since they're just human beings, then are they really the best beings for the job? humans hired to control other humans is a bit weird
