I am almost guaranteed this is an overstatement unless the gpu is from the same year.

new compooter, is this good/decent?
got the whole thing for ~$1000

also since it doesn't seem to say anywhere, monitor is acer 21" 1080p and case is "Thor"

You have the same build as me cept I have 4gb ram, not 8. I spent ~$500-$600 on mine, you kinda got ripped.
