vagrgina is in a state of emegency righ tnow stay safe

Virginia Governor Ralph Northam declared a state of emergency in Virginia from January 17-21, amid plans by pro-gun groups to hold a rally at the Capitol on January 20. Watch a portion of Northam's press conference.

According to the Richmond Police Department, 34-year-old Raquel Hernandez decided to leave her kids in the car while treating herself to an all-you-can-eat meal at the Golden Corral Buffet & Grill.

The 400-lbs woman arrived around 11 AM and was still eating when the police arrived on the site at 8:20 PM.

29-year-old Sarah Ferguson, the waitress who warned the police, says she noticed the kids in the car when she arrived for her shift and saw them again when she finished her work.

A vegan was left feeling 'sick and heartbroken' after she accidentally ate chicken when KFC got her plant-based burger order wrong.

Nic Kent, 27, has been vegan for five years and was keen to try out the chicken shop's new meat-free burger with her sister, who is also vegan.

The pair ordered their burgers from the Clifton store in Nottingham and took them home to eat.

But after Ms Kent's sister, who has asked not to be named, took a bite of hers - she realised staff had got her order wrong and she had just eaten chicken.

She is also lactose intolerant, which meant she felt sick after accidentally eating cheese as well.

Ms Kent said: 'I felt sick. I was heartbroken. It has been a long time since I first became a vegan. I went to brush my teeth after.'

She explained that the box was labelled a 'zero chicken' burger which states on the side: 'Finger lickin' vegan. Until you add non-vegan stuff, obviously.'

She said she had taken a bite without thinking, putting her trust in KFC to put the correct burger in the box.

She added: 'You know when you are so hungry and you do not chew? I waited a long time for it so I was hungry and I just wanted to enjoy it. Luckily it was not a big bite.

'I've been vegan for five years so I known damn well that was not any plant-based stuff. I could feel all the skin going down my throat.

Off Topic / the 2 party system doesn't work [change my mind]
« on: January 07, 2020, 05:42:56 AM »
The founding fathers were against the 2 party system and for good reason.

I've seen for so long votes becoming 1 sided and usually the only way to win a vote is by having more people in your party than the other party, that's not how votes should work.

For example let's go with the impeachment vote for trump at the house.

Democrat 228 yes 3 no

republican 0 yes 191 no

So both parties can vote either yes/no but it doesn't matter because as long as democrats out number republicans or vice versa they can all choose to vote for 1 outcome and the republicans or vice versa can't do anything about it.

Now let's say this was a democrat president like obama the results would be flipped

Democrat 3 yes 228 no

republican 191 yes 0 no

Now let's say this was a democrat president like obama but republicans had more seats. (I can't count the 3 yes for this example)

Democrat 0 yes 191 no

republican 228 yes 0 no

If we are going to continue the 2 party system then voting needs to be radically changed. This kind of outcome should have counted as a tie and not pass because there was no general bipartisan agreement with both sides aside from 3 votes.

If we are going to continue the 2 party system then our voting process should at least be 60% bipartisan to pass and similar to jury rules, they  must keep voting until there is an outcome everyone agrees on or else the vote fails.

Otherwise I don't see how the 2 party system will work based on how divided it can be when it comes to polls.

Gives the US army extra fodder to slightly increase their chances of winning with endless waves of men after men at their disposal.

The father and mother got divorced.

Apparently the courts decided that it's better for children to live with bugs than to live with their father.

Games / The Mean Greens: Still Alive
« on: December 31, 2019, 10:08:30 AM »
As the last day of 2019 I figured I'd share this gem of a game called Mean Greens.

It's a "dead" game that people are still playing in 2019, and they'll still be playing it in 2020 I bet.

Mean Greens is currently on sale for 2 dollars and I highly recommend it.

« on: December 18, 2019, 07:48:48 PM »
let me get this straight the impeachment process is determined by republican and democrat votes, right?

Well the democrats have more votes than the republicans, right?

It's obvious all the dems will vote yes and all the reps will vote no, right?

Seems like it was a 1 sided election and no sides agreed at all.
