Half-Life Sound Selector (HLSS) is a program written by Disk2. It allows users to play multiple wave files over the voice-communication system built in to many popular Steam games, particularly those created by Valve and those that use the GoldSrc and Source Engine. The latest version, 3.00, was released on June 28, 2002.

Hello fellow Music Players and/or Mic spammers, I've decided to make a HL:SS thread. You play sounds in game, so this goes in games.

Anyway, right now I use  a few songs. I don't have any sounds to play except for Mr.Krabs playing the worlds smallest violin. I'm thinking about finding and adding a sound affect of Moxxi from Borderlands going "You want me to stop? BRING ON THE NEXT WAVE" for use as a reply to french ciggaretes who hate music and don't know how to mute people. If you have and sounds/tourretes guys clips that you'd like to share I'd be happy to use them.

Anyway, the 4-H agricultural fair is here, and It's good. I used to go to ride the scrambler but last year I was so fat the rope seatbelt wouldn't fasten, so this year I'm going to eat the food. Section 1-A consists of booths, IE companies, like a jacuzzi company, arcade machine store, election booths for the new Mayor of our tri-county area, all that. Section two consists of those stands that sell fake Yu-gi-oh cards and finger sock puppets. Section tri is food. :D Cheese Fries, fried oreos, clamcakes, teriakaki sticks, funnel cake, and Wild Bills soda, where you pay 8 dollars for a half-gallon cup that you can refill the entire time the fair is in town.

Yeah that's right, Oliver Twist. Apparently my school thought that everyone would go onto their computers, find the class they're in, and then find out that we had a summer reading assignment, without sending letters home. So now, 2 weeks, (Yes,I have 2 weeks left) before school starts, I have to read Oliver twist. I in no way tend to show off, but if this was anyone else, they'd be forgeted. I have a fast typing rate that gets me astonishment from anyone who watches me type. I'm sure most of you do too, and I can also read nearly as fast. However I read at the rate the story would want to progress, and have a vocabulary to match the time the book was created.


Any hints about Oliver Twist for when I have to do a project/test?

I don't normally make a topic just to showcase 1 video, but Banana man is the only song I've ever shown appreciation to, and the fact that someone made a quality YTPMV about just adds to the awesome. Ok you wanna get rich? find ALMOST any item. Go to your inventory. select ANY scroll you have more than 1 of. then. drop the item. it will duplicate EXACTLY the amount of scrolls you have. EX: I have 1 steel sword. and 5 scrolls of frost shield. i select the scroll. <dont exit inventory> then i drop the item. AND SHWABOODLE!

1000 gold from like 5 swords.

THIS GLITCH HAS NOT BEEN FIXED UNLESS YOU DOWNLOAD THE OBLIVION PATCH ON PC!

Sell something worth some $$$ And you will get like 128472395789 of these: I fixed the typo. i typed Patch because thats what you needed to fix it. sorry. =P

n Carmageddon, the player races a vehicle against a number of other computer controlled competitors in various settings, including city, mine and industrial areas. The player has a certain amount of time to complete each race, but more time may be gained by collecting bonuses, damaging the competitors' cars or by running over pedestrians.

Races are completed by either completing the course as one would a normal racing game, "wasting" (wrecking) all other race cars, or killing all pedestrians on the level.

The game was notable for its realistic and ground-breaking physics and for its in-game movie making features. It was also one of the earliest examples of sandbox 3D driving games, and may have influenced other later games including Driver and the Grand Theft Auto series.

The game featured instrumental versions of songs from Fear Factory's album Demanufacture, with 'Zero Signal' being used in the opening theme

In many countries (including Germany and, for a short time, the UK), the game, when released, contained zombies or robots  with green blood instead of people, as running over the non-human figures was considered more acceptable by their respective ratings boards. In the UK SCi wanted to gain publicity for the game by submitting it to the British Board of Film Classification  (BBFC) to get an 18 rating, even though this was not necessary as the game contained no video footage. This backfired when the BBFC refused to certify the game unless all blood and gore was removed. After 10 months of appeal, the BBFC certified the original version.[1]

In some countries, the game was banned completely, including Brazil[2]. In Portugal and Australia the game was passed completely uncut with an +18 and MA15+ rating, respectively.

This used to be my bro's favorite game, and after playing a few rounds, I liked it alot too. I've spent some of my free time over the past few years trying to get it to run on a modern day computer, and to then run it on DOSBox, however I had already been running it on DOSBox, but my problem was I needed to send my commands to the F: drive, IE: My disk drive. And now that I have it working my brother want's his copies back again. My brother currently resides in South Carolina.

Yes totally. Dr. Pepper Cherry. I never had one nor had plans of ever having any until my dad came home one day with about 8 of them, which I then refrigerated and proceeded to drink. And holy engineer's tits on ice in a hand basket these is the best soda I have ever had. It combines my favorite drink flavor with the taste of Dr. Pepper, which Imo, wasn't very good until now, with cherry syrup. I don't think I'll be getting Cherry Coke ever again with Dr.Pepper Cherry on the market.

I'm looking for the Carmagheddon Max-Pack, max pack only. And Carmageddon 2. I already have copies, but they belong to my brother and now that i've learned how to install them he wants them back. So somebody sell me their copies or think of a clever ruse for me to trick my brother with.

PS: my brother lives miles away at south carolina

Once I beat such a game I lose all will to play again, because I can't find a purpose. :(
