Games / Darkwing Duck for the NES

Oh yeah, now there's two topics of mine on the game's page.

Anyway, I don't know what it is with NES games based around Disney ducks, but Darkwing duck for the NES is just about as entertaining and fun as Ducktails. Darkwing duck for the NES, you obviously play as Darkwing Duck himself.  The first stage selection screen consists of 3 places, each with a cry for help. Upon selecting a stage, Launchpad debreifs you on the current situation, upon entering the stage it begins. It's basically a platformer as Darkwing, and impressive at that. Up makes DW hide behind his cape, and blocks any projectiles aimed at him, though it does not protect his back or head. Attacking, he uses some sort of gun. Maybe Disney was trying to avoid showing kids a real gun, but it's a gun of some sort. (On a side note I played some Donald Duck game for the SNES later that day and he was using a gun of the same sorts)It's pretty alright. The only confusing aspect of the game is hanging. Whenever DW jumps towards a ledge or something, he hangs onto it. Though it is actually pretty useful, it gets annoying later on. The enemies are pretty alright too. The level I played consisted of Guards, Turbo Turtles, and the final boss being a clown. I'd love to be more specific, but I wasn't old enough to savor a classic like Darkwing Duck at my age. Anyway, yeah. I'd supply pics but my internet is like poop from a butt right now.

That's right. At first I though it was simply Rocket Knight/Sparkster be re-released on steam. But upon clicking the add, bricks were shat. It seems apparent that they have made a NEW version of Rocket Knight for next gen platforms. It is currently 11.99 for pre-orders, and no pre-order perks seem to be in place. Saving up every penny I get so I can buy it starting right this very instant. Discuss.

Games / Carmageddon/Carmageddon 2.

Yeap Yeap, it's me again. Now tell me how to install these two fine games. Really now, I've been trying since Christmas to try and install these games onto my computer and pass that knowledge onto my brother. My computer is a vista and these are old DOS/windows 95 games. Geek Squad claims that it is in fact installable, and my brother tried to install it on his old computer, but apparently it was "too fast". But I'm quite positive there's a workaround for that as soon as I install this onto my computer. Please help, don't go off into talking about how these are old and I need to get with the times, or how my computer doesn't like Carmagheddon. I've requested help 3 times and I've been served that bullstuff. It's not cute, and quite frankly I'm getting pissed off. Now please assist me.

Off Topic / Trying to make comics, but need a good art program/something to help me.

So yeah, I am making comics. Up until now I've been using Paint.Net which isn't really easy to use. It also leaves that weird residue when you try to fill something/make lines because of that transparent layer of gray that follows every line. Does anyone know any good programs I can use to make these comics?

Games / Need help installing Carmageddon on my computer.

Yeah yeah, I've asked this twice before with no avail so I'm making it again. Some help would be real nice.

Anyway, I have Carmageddon Max pack and Carmageddon 2, both belong to my brother, who expects me to get them working. I even asked him if I could try. My brother currently lives four hundred  and seventy five miles away in South Carolina. At least that's what I think, I haven't passed a math semester since the fifth grade. Anyway, how do I install this stuff? Geek Squad was about to install it on my brothers computer, but wanted to charge him 37 dollars.


PS: If you didn't know, Carmageddon was sort of like a Racing/Demolition Derby/ GTA game of our forefathers for the pc.

Games / Modern Warfare: Updating, 100 percent.

Alright, so I bought Modern Warfare while it was on sale for 15 dollars this weekend. Went to install it, left my comp on to download. All day now it's been on updating, 100 percent. Is this just some sort of error, and I can leave my comp on to finish downloading it, or does something have to be done? Also don't stuffpost  talking about how mw sucks, help or get the forget out. Please.

Alright, so I'm gearing up, ready to pre-order sam and max, the penal zone.  But suddenly, it appears the game has already been released. However, it says that if I purchase before april 26th, I get the free stuff. Can anyone confirm this or help me out about this?

No, really. My internet is super duper slow now, and the problem is that every time I try to enter a site, it redirects me. After using Malwarbytes, that removed all of the critical problems. Problems Left? Still redirects me to random sites when I try to enter a site. It is easily bypassable if I just re-enter the link at the top, but still, how to remove. I got the virus when I downloaded a fake Flash Player 9/whatever  update on a vidya site. Last time I made a thread, I was told to check out this folder for sources or something. Hurkel Durkel I deleted the folder. Howtofix/re get folder guise. :C

Alright which one should I explain first? Well, my Bro and Dad are going to Reno for National Bowling Championships, and during that time, my brother flies from South Carolina to New Jersey, then waits a day and takes a  plane from New Jersey to Reno with my Dad. Why is this important you ask? Because during the 20 hours he's not on the plane/on vacation, he's with me. Why is this important no one asks? Because during this time I get a rematch with him on Street Fighter, only this time it's Tatsunoko Vs Capcom, so I get to use Megaman and Viewtiful joe while he uses Ryu and Chun Lee.


Part 2: Hank Hill is my father.

Yeah alright, so my bro's Name is Bobby. He works for some company and goes around filling up Propane. And he is a pretty big fan of the eagles football, and sports in general. Yeah it's not much.

Alright, let me clarify. People who might somehow know me know that I've really never went into a rant like this before, so to be clear, I'm not some spoiled ass sandwich without the sandwich that wants a game, I'm  pissed off. I waited until midnight so I could download my copy of Sleep is Death, and go to bed to let it install. Nothing. I stayed up till 3, went to bed, woke up a 6, nothing. Stayed up until now. Still nothing. Seriously now, they said 11:59 PM, and it's three oclock and still no game. Is anyone else starting to get pissed off?

General Discussion / Making A Wasteland Game In Blockland. Need Suggestions.

Alright, so I downloaded a wasteland map sometime around noon today, and that utterly inspired me. I have never put this much work into a project before. Soon enough my friend joined in. Here's what we have now.

You spawn, and the first thing you see is a pub with a vending machine inside. The average player will walk into the pub, and go to the back where there is purified water that restores your health, and a terminal. The player reads the terminal which informs them to open the safe, they do and find a double barrel shotgun, a good starting weapon. Smarter players will activate the vending machine, using it from the front will tell the player that it doesn't work, but fidgeting with the gray block on the back nets the player a browing HP pistol. Another starting weapon. A smarter player will also survey the surroundings using zoom, and find "Ol' Joes Hunting Shack" and the Dock. Ol' Joes Hunting Shack has 4 guns, Ak47, a carbine, Desert eagle, and the "Bang" Novelty gun. The player can also go to the dock, and find a block with a "?" symbol on it, upon pressing it , it reads "You can go to Jolly Pirates Toilets and take a 2 hour stuff for all I care" There is also a window. Upon looking out the window, the player notices a flag for Jolly Pirates. If the player travels to the flag, they will find Jolly Pirates, a Chuck E Cheese style place before the apocalypse. The Average player will loot the prize shelf for the pirate weapons, but the advanced player will enter the bathroom, and activate the Toilet, netting them the Shockwave from District 9. The first offical quest starts when the player finds a small out of place table in the middle of a small pond, notes on the table reveal a bunker to the south, which contains a key to a bar, which contains info on part 2 of the quest, and a shotgun and pistol from the engie of tf2. This is as far as I've build today, and I'd like suggestions and constructive criticism.

On a second note, Heres some things I want to add.

Enemies
Bigger inventories for the player
Vehicles that can be respawned but not when someone is already riding them
Players keeping stuff after they die/corpse looting
And an overlay of rpg elements so that the player can't jet and build and what not

Any suggestions for that?

So I went onto Facebook, and I had gotten a message from a friend I knew in real life, it was a link so clicked on it. I'm pretty sure this is where I went wrong. It lead me to some video site and it told me to watch it I had to download flash player, and since my flash player had already tried to update itself and I cancelled it, I though it was just me. Then it downloaded setup, so I used that and nothing happened. so now I have this virus that redirects me to some other download site every time I try to enter a site. How to fix D:
