Games / Gently Caressing Hell, Doom 3 won't work.

So I wait 3 days for my Doom 3 to install, because my internet from my vacation spot is like sucking the ocean through a straw, and when it finally installs, I start it up and it asks me for my cd key.

What do I do?

Games / QuakeGL Not working on my vista.

So I bought the ID superpack and Installed quake, I want to play QuakeGL because it has a higher quality, but when I try to launch it, it stops responding and windows gives me an error message. What do I do?

Games / So if I buy Borderlands, for the PC, on a disk, can I use steam to play it?

I bought it on a disk to avoid having to download it off steam, which would take a while considering my internet, and I want to know if the disk lets me play on steam.

Answer quickly, I have 5 days to return it.

Anyway, I'm playing ZDOOM and I love it, it's much easier to use than the DOS version, and it's somehow more fluent to me. What I really want to know is if there's mod for Wolfenstien, quake, Duke Nukem, and other games? I really want to play through them but doing it on the DOS is just a big too hard to use, after using mouse aiming systems.

Games / A few years late, but I'm addicted to Doom.

So yeah, one day I decided to stop being so damn scared when it came to playing games like Doom and Quake, and started up my DOSbox, and I decided. I'm addicted. I love Doom, Quake, Duke Nukem, Wolfenstien, all those old DOS games. Just a few hours ago I started using Zdoom to play my Doom games, which makes it alot easier, considering how you can mouse aim more fluently than Doom on the DOS. I hope there's mods for Duke Nukem and Quake to make mouse aiming easier. I just have a hard time using my keyboard to aim.

Well, I own all the Valve games. And a lot of mods based around their games. Please direct your attention to all the games made by the publisher VALVE, which would be 60 percent. I own all the Valve games to date.





Also I didn't buy the Valve Complete pack, I got them all over a series of 3 years.

I love Valve. :D

Off Topic / My computer is really starting to get some problems.

Well, if you haven't guessed by the title yet, my computer has a couple of problems, and when there's a problem I usually come here and ask for help.

So for starters, my internet freezes whenever I search for something. Not all the time, but most of the time. It just locks up. I use Firefox, so don't tell me to switch to it or any of that bullstuff. Another problem is that every time I turn on my computer, there's a 50 percent chance of my screen resolution resetting itself to the lowest, most magnified setting possible. And last is Steam, it freezes whenever I try to play a game and I have to reset it and attempt to start the game again to play it.

I demand answers, please.

So, I'm playing portal and I noticed Glados is not not talking, I opened the developer console and it says that the file is missing or something. What's wrong, and what can I do to fix it?  I tried restarting the game, and even the computer, both didn't work.

Hi, it's me again. How's the kids?

Anyway, I have a few problems. Remember a few months ago when I posted a thread about my computer resolution? Well I fixed it. Hooray. But now whenever I turn my computer on, the resolution is reset, as in my screen zoomed in. I can turn it back in control panel, but how do I stop it from happening? Also whenever I search something on my internet explorer, it just freezes. It doesn't stop responding, but it just freezes. What can I do about that? Also -5 E-snake points if you say "Get firefox bcuz it doesn't do that bullstuff lol".

Off Topic / My computer's resolution is zoomed in.

Title Title Title.

Anyway, my computer screen is zoomed in, like everything is bigger. It's like a pre-steam game computer screen where it zooms in on your computer. And I'm stuck like that, I have to use the bottom scroll bar to browse the internet pages which don't normally need to use the bottom scroll bar, and if I have more than 2 windows open at once, it compacts windows of the same catagories into 1 bar at the start bar.

Please help. :c
