I can see the inspiration from the bedroom map, and With a little polish, this would be an excellent companion to the map. I agree, that the lighting has to be improved. You should also add more "House objects" Such as plants, an TV (With enough space to build over the monitor, if you can), And possibly, some cubord space in the kitchen. however, dont add TOO much. Limit yourself to three "Extra" objects to each room (Not counting furniture, lights, or tables). Those things can be built serverside, and can even become a sort of "game" where everyone adds something to the rooms.
And most importantly, release the next version adequitely. Dont rush releasing the next version of the map, nor drag out the release for long periods of time.
