Just got Dark Boy by accident

I guess having Infestation 2, the Guppy transformation, and Technology before I got there was a little overkill, everything just kinda died when I entered a room

Unfortunately I took like 1-2 hits on each floor afterwards because I was actually thinking about it so I didn't get the other ones, though I guess that time will come when I finally start playing the Lost

The problem is, the menu where you can enable and disable the .esp's doesn't show up.

just remove the files from the folder?

What really baffles me about Mannpower is how so many clueless people make it on the servers

And I don't mean like "what on earth is this gamemode" clueless, because that's the average mindset on Mannpower servers, I mean "I've got 10 hours in this game and I have no idea how it works" clueless

How do so many of these guys decide to click the checkbox for beta maps and choose the gamemode that says it's for experts? I've noticed it on Asteroid too, it's super weird

I played some Mannpower for the first time since release

Vampyro is still the scourge of humanity despite the "nerf", nearly made it to a 30 kill streak the first time and got a few 15s after

I do kinda like the gamemode, it's something new and different and pleasantly hectic, there are just some item/powerup combos that forget stuff up hardcore (Haste Stickybomb Launcher holy stuff)

and something something blaze it, totally unintentional score

- Mannpower mode changes:
        - New temporary powerup - Uber. Respawns at 1/3rd the speed of Crit powerup
        - Fixed some bugs that would cause powerups to stop spawning
        - Fixed the Action Slot key behaving different for the grapple hook depending on the setting for hud_fastswitch
        - Powerup changes:
                - Vampire: Flamethrower and Minigun return 80% of damage back as health instead of 100%
                - Warlock: Added 25% damage resistance. 100% of sentry damage is now reflected back to the sentry
                - Vampire and Warlock max health buffs are now additive (+80hp and +100hp) instead of multiplicative (x1.4 and x1.5)
                - Haste: Sticky bomb arm time reduced
                - Precision and Haste: Sniper rifles now have quicker damage ramp-up and re-zoom after shooting
                - Precision: Sniper rifles now have double damage. Increased blast weapon clip size by 50%
        - Scoring Support
                - Capture flag: +20 points
                - Return team flag: +4 points
                - Kill an enemy who is carrying a powerup:  +1 point
        - Flag mechanics
                - Captured flags now take 12 seconds to re-emerge from the ground so they can't be stolen again right away

I don't know what the forget is going on with Mannpower

Looks like they're just throwing stuff at the wall to see what sticks

additionally, I haven't done the science but I'm pretty sure if you've got your knife pointed towards said spiders they will die before they can hit you

Rebel seems to be my best character. So many little guys wandering around shooting everything after you get something like second stomach, rhino skin, and rabbits paw. To me she's more like a bullet hell melting than a normal character. Absolutely hilarious with sharp teeth.

I think all the extra stuff on screen is another reason I don't like playing Rebel

I'd like to try her with Sharp Teeth but I've never gotten it, though admittedly I could very well have been given the choice and just skimmed over it because I'm so used to ignoring it with every other character

mom's knife is by no means a run-winner. the lack of range and fire rate means a room full of spiders on the chest could take away 3 hearts easily if you have no other means of killing enemies

if you take damage against spiders on the chest with mom's knife that's your own fault

if you take THREE damage against spiders on the chest with mom's knife that's just depressing

So I experienced a miracle just now

I got Inner Eye in my first item room as Cain but forgeted up big time by taking Tech 2 which left me with just the laser, slowly made my way to the Cathedral almost entirely because of Guppy's Head, Hive Mind, and Dark Matter (which was the only devil deal that didn't suck despite getting the Goat Head on Basement II) where I encountered my first slot machine in the entire run, gambled all my money away, used a Jera rune on the spoils and gambled some more, got like 3 health ups because of Eternal Hearts, and made it to the Chest

The four items inside were Spoon Bender, Book of Revelations, Chemical Peel, and D6

Took the first three, made it to the boss with relative ease, rerolled the Book and Guppy's Head before going in (Parasite and Tiny Planet unfortunately) and pulled out a win

I tend to get really defeatist and just start over when Isaac forgets me with items or if I make a terrible mistake but I really shouldn't because stuff like this can happen

I'm getting much more of a feel for how characters are intended to be played, which is really great

I want to like Rebel because I love the design but I just don't like her active ability, Rogue doesn't feel powerful enough to warrant being constantly chased by the IDPD, and Eyes is just really mediocre all around

I also just hate playing anyone other than Robot though because when I find a weapon I don't want to use I just stare at it wistfully

Update #60: The Gun Update is now live

    Features
    A new load of Golden Weapons! Say hello to the Golden Slugger, Assault Rifle, Plasma Gun, Screwdriver, Splinter Gun and Bazooka! These won't be nearly as easy to get as the normal Golden Weapons.
    The Devastator.
    New Ultra Mutations for Eyes, Fish, Plant and Yung Venuz!
    Icons for all Ultra Mutations, Hammerhead and Strong Spirit.
    Remastered and brand new weapon and swap sounds!
    Updated Crown Vault tracks, and new ambience tracks for 0_1.

    Balancing
    The Heavy Slugger now has a way higher rate of fire, but less range.
    Hammerhead now requires you to really push against a wall.
    Strong Spirit now saves your live once, and recharges by returning to full HP. Really needs visual some effects for communication purposes, but we haven't gotten to that yet.
    No more Crown Portals in the Palace!
    Robot gets slightly less drops from eating Golden Weapons now.
    You'll no longer find the Golden Revolver on loops!

    Fixes
    Robot's Regurgitate should now work as intended.
    Fixed a problem with the ambience track in the menu.
    Steroids doesn't have Stress by default on their secondary weapon anymore.
    Weapon Chests on the same level should've stopped dropping the same weapon.
    Fixed a problem with the Ultra Shovel HUD icon.
    Fixed the sprite origin of the Hyper Rifle and Plasma Minigun.
    Fixed a crash related to the Sewers loop boss.
    Hopefully fixed the early portal bug Big Dog has.
    Fixed the description for Plant's Throne Butt.

    Misc
    Tweaked the way mutations look on the HUD.
    Ultra weapons now have green outlines on the HUD.



Unfortunately I've never gotten far enough to appreciate any of the things they added and tweaked...but I guess that's an incentive to get better!

So I SR'd a Shiny Latios!

And I fish chained a Shiny... Magikarp

I managed to get a friend to trade me Alomomola

Including the Special Event Beldum, I have four shinies

not too bad for someone who only has ~200 caught pokemon.

I've a chain of 128 for a Tentacool and no shiny in sight ;-;

Nice, was that in ORAS? I was afraid to try because I didn't know if they were shiny locked

I've tried to SR a shiny Registeel in Sapphire and Latias in SS but no luck on either

I've also been trying to breed a shiny Tentacool but it's becoming one of my longest shiny breeds
