The taunt just seemed to fit so perfectly with the loadout when I did the mock-up and flaming eyes only added to the appeal

Strange Professional Killstreak Rainblowers are pleasantly cheap too, relatively speaking



And if you play with cl_first_person_uses_world_mo del you don't have to worry about the majority of your view being obstructed by the viewmodel and particles

Suggest me good scout loadouts (hats, stranges, taunts and all) for or under 4 keys.
i can go about 4 ref over 4 keys

Strange Scattergun - 3 ref
Strange Pistol - 2 ref
Strange Atomizer/Bat - 1.33 ref

Specialized Killstreak Scattergun Kit - 2 keys
Killstreak Pistol Kit - 9 ref
Killstreak Atomizer/Bat Kit - 1.33/2.66 ref

That brings us to around 3 keys + 4.66 ref at the most, leaving us with 8.66 for cosmetics if you stick to exactly 4 keys

You could also downgrade the Scattergun Kit to a standard one for only 3.33 ref and add 10 ref to your cosmetic budget (1 key + 5.33 ref total) or forget any combination of the Killstreak Kits altogether, the question is what kind of look are you going for? One of the best ways to put together a cosmetic set is to choose one item you really like, or something you already have, and build around that

I love this armor I unboxed so I think Pyro is next in line for a makeover

Thoughts on these? Any other items that could work? I know there's not much variety but I couldn't find much that fits

This is what I've got right now but I feel like I could do better



(Fun fact: There's an animation for a sitting Pyro taunt from True Meaning in the game files)

Edit: It has dawned on me that the Rusty Reaper is paintable and thus I have made a decision



Consequentially, if anyone has a Rusty Reaper, After Eight, or an After Eight Rusty Reaper I'll buy them/it

Sold that SF Shotgun and got some new duds

Feels bad that there are only 3 cosmetic slots because I really like Your Worst Nightmare but I don't want to give up any of the other items to equip it

I'm also a little mad that the paint colors the eyepiece too, I didn't notice that when I was testing things

The only existing weapon Strangifiers are for the Pocket Pistol, Air Strike, Phlogistinator, Manmelter, Headtaker, Widowmaker, Pomson, Vaccinator, Classic, Cleaner's Carbine, and Necro Smasher

I love Spy because I can disguise as a Sniper, stand in a Sniper-y spot and act like one, completely fool someone, and then stab them as they walk by

Can someone explain how backpack.tf works? just a quick simple explanation so i can start using it.
also what the forget is ref

I think it's pretty self explanatory but

Your backpack page (backpack.tf/id/[custom url or steam id], e.g. my page is backpack.tf/id/regulith) will show you what's in your inventory and the current community price for each item including the lowest they're being sold for on popular websites including the Steam Community Market, TF2 Warehouse, and Trade.tf

Under the "Trading" drop-down you can find various lists of item prices (or backpack.tf/pricelist) including a separate page for Unusuals as well as a classified section for buying and selling things like in a newspaper, you can also vote on item prices if you're into that but beware your votes won't have much weight if you're not somewhat rich

"Ref" is short for "Refined metal"
