my friend who breeds gets really random pokemon such as that cactus pokemon, i don't know how he did it.

What exactly don't you know how he did? Breeding at all? Like, you've never heard of the concept of putting a male and female Pokemon in the daycare? I'm not trying to sound condescending or anything I'm just trying to figure out what's going on here because there's been some sort of miscommunication

What Pokemon are you trying to breed?

Unless you mean literally just the hatching, in which case just use Hatching Power 3 on Route 7

It's not a lucky feeling to spend 3 straight days hatching Eevee eggs and then switch to Bulbasaurs for like 5 minutes and hatch a loving shiny

seriously though, why is it rising instead of dropping

1. Backpack.tf users get points for voting on the option that wins, and Key suggestions that increase the price always win
2. A raise in price means Keys can be sold for more in-game while purchasing them with real-world money stays relatively the same
3. People buying Keys for stupidly high prices on TF2 Outpost, a place known across the internet for its ridiculous overpricing, is considered "proof" by the backpack.tf community to raise the price
4. People are loving handicapped

so if i had plans to transfer my pokemon from soulsilver (which is a snowball'd collection of multiple other pokemon games) to Y then would this make that transfer impossible?

No

You don't need to use Nintendo's DS servers for any of that
