More information has been revealed about Diancie and its role in the series, this time by Nintendo themselves.

Diancie, as some people had suspected, is actually a sudden transformation of Carbink. No details about distribution have been revealed, but the new trailer claims they're "coming soon". There is also a synopsis of the upcoming movie, set to be release this July in Japan.

The story is set in Diamond Ore Country, of which Diancie is the princess.This is a country located deep underground, where the Pokémon Carbink live together in peace. The energy source of this country is a giant diamond called the Sacred Diamond, which can only be created by princess Diancie. However, the current princess doesn't yet possess the power to create such a diamond, and the current Sacred Diamond's power is soon going to run out, which would result in the end of the country. Diancie meets up with Ash and Pikachu, and set off together with them to search for the legendary Pokemon Xerneas, which possesses sacred power, but on the way, they find the cocoon where the Destruction Pokémon, Yveltal, who was said to have once destroyed life in Kalos, lies in wait.

There is also allegedly a shiny version of Diancie that was shown in a Pokedex entry, but I can't find an official source. It seems as though it may have been posted on the Pokemon website by accident and then removed.

I dunno, having the box & game card just seems safer to me.

By the way, does Poke Transporter cost money too, or is it only Pokemon Bank?

You need Bank to use Transporter

all i needed was a mini sd card, what was i supposed to do with a bigger one?

use it in another device with a standard SD card slot

like a computer, or, say, a 3DS

TODAY is the DAY i get pokemon x/y

2 questions though

should i get pokemon x, or y

and is it purchase-able from the 3DS store? (doesn't matter if i have to go out and buy it)

Your decision depends entirely on which version-exclusives you like, and even then the ones not catchable in one version can easily be traded for, so it mostly comes down to which box legendary and Mega Stones you want since those are fairly hard to trade for

X and Y are available for digital download on the 3DS eShop

So I'm PRETTY sure someone said their Shaymin that was caught via non-standard methods in D/P/Pt couldn't be transferred and I guess I just decided to completely forget that because after all this it won't let me transport it to Bank

So forget all that then, I guess it was just a huge waste of my time

Yeah I still need one, I have some 4 IV dratinis now if you want one of those

I've already finished my breeding and have a 5IV Dragonite but thanks anyway

I'm actually about to start tweaking to Shaymin again in Diamond so I can help with that later

Just annoying that I have to hope the 1 Zorua out of every 8 (feels more like 1 in 20) gets all the right IVs passed down
