it seems at least one writer at pc gamer shares my sentiment that sombra is going to be frustrating as forget to play against; she can go invisible for 6 seconds every 6 seconds, teleport great distances, disables your abilities, and does considerable damage with her gun

obviously that's a blast to play yourself, but it's going to be obnoxious when you're playing against her, I'm really not looking forward to Spy paranoia coming back

I hope they do some serious balance work before she rolls out

the arcade is nice, I'm glad there's another way to get loot boxes now, I'm sure that's because people are going to be reaching max level in the near future (I've seen some level 1,000-1,200s myself already)

I don't like what I'm seeing though; invisibility, "hacks enemy abilities," teleporting, sounds like another really obnoxious hero to play against

I completely forgot about Perkus Maximus, it's a fantastic perk overhaul mod, it addresses the issue where the majority of the perks are just "do this thing 10% better" and improves combat with timed blocking and other effects

The perk descriptions are cryptic as hell and it makes gold have weight without a perk though, but there are third-party add-ons that change that

Also Immersive Armor/Weapons helps break up the monotony and More Interesting Loot makes dungeons actually worthwhile

genji, mccree, pharah, hanzo, junkrat, torbjorn, lucio, and symmetra could all be argued to be part machine

over half. i guess 13.6% is about half yeah.
now, if for some reason, you want to include tracer (?), mccree, and hell even d.va. And by some extreme stretch, soldier and reinhardt. you're still under half.

tracers like ironmans autistic sister
and i mean genji's just like whatever the forget he is
even mccree has a cyborg arm and hes a cowboy he shouldnt have access to this technology

they're all operatives doing incredibly dangerous activities, they're almost certainly going to lose a limb or two

mccree may be a cowboy but he's been a part of overwatch for awhile so I'm sure they funded it

How about: Do you want to be forced on a specific linear story line or do you want to play how you want on an open ended story?

for the sake of OP because I know you don't care, exploring a desert wasn't meant to be a bad thing
