Off Topic / CS:GO says "Performing first time setup"

Every time since last night when I got CS:GO, it says first time setup with it saying its installing directx step 1 of 1.
It says this every time I launch the game.
Help please.

is there some sort of GUI that sets your FOV besides Jasa's? You can like manually set your FOV, is there anything like this?
If not can someone possibly make one?

Off Topic / Hamachi seems to be replacing WAN IP?

I logged into my router, and found out that hamachi randomly overlapped my WAN ip address, my computer is connected through ethernet, anyway, my IP used to start with 50. , now it starts with a hamachi ip which is started with 24., I dont know why my public ip address is being messed up by hamachi, is there any way to fix this?

General Discussion / Been on blockland for a total of 2 years.

About 4 days and 2 years ago I bought blockland, at around 12-1am on July 6th, 2011, and popped onto the forum a few months later, got myself perma'd on accident, and got a new forum account in december 2012.
The past 2 years of being here on Blockland were great, despite the arguements I've had in the past.
Anyway, its been great here, the forum kinda changed me a little bit into a bit of a better person, once again despite the arguements I've had with people.

Well, if you dont remember my topic about how my mother has M.S., you won't really know about everything.
Anyway, shes going into surgery tomorrow for her spine, once again.
So I have to get up at like 7:30 am or something like that so i can go to the hospital with my father.
Anyway, I hope it turns out well.

Off Topic / What a loving night I had.

So heres what happened tonight which in my opinion is just plain loving scary.

My sister was over at her friends bondfire and my sisters bf had to pick her up due to being drunk, she gets in his car normally and then freaks the forget out and wants to jump out the car, so they come to my house and my sister is banging on the door to get in, we open the door, my mother and the rest of my family excluding my dad (since he works as a sergeant in cook county illinois, i live in will county illinois) came out of their rooms and my sister's boyfriend was trying to get her to calm down, so he was settling her down and all that in my living room, then 2 cars full of people come to my door, they were my sisters friends and my mother opens the door and they're yelling about my sisters bf apparently hitting her, so one guy picks out a knife and tries to bust into the house to stab my sisters bf, there was a few black and few white people, my sister flies out the door and one of the people there puts her in a car and drives away, so my mother dials 911 and police come over and blah blah blah stuff like that, the police were beginning to act like ignorant forgets and when I tried to explain something to a sergeant the guy tells me to basically shut up, so i give him the look of basically explaining he was being a ignorant cunt. i go to my room and stuff happens, about 30-35 minutes later my sister comes home after the officer explains to my sister she can get arrested, put in prison and other things.
she gets home and for some reason while my sisters friends tried to break in the power went out for the kitchen, living room and some other rooms.
My sister got home about 10-15 minutes ago, and the time was around 12:30 or something like that that they tried to break in.
Well, my night was stuff.

Off Topic / I'm not sure if I should reupgrade to windows 8.

I've had windows 7 for the past 3 months and when I was downgrading to windows 8 I had to disable a feature named secureboot which boots all other hardware before windows 8.
So I used the upgrade assistant and got that some devices were uncompatible, but pacha told me the games that it listed as uncompatible was wrong.
I looked at some other stuff and found this in the compatibility list:

Pacha told me he was having hardware problems with windows 8, but I'm not completely sure if I should reupgrade to the OS.
Secure boot is what i disabled in order to install windows 7 correctly
Also, this is a pretty big decision considering I almost forgeted up my computer when I downgraded to windows 7.
