I'm sick and tired of these(I say this a lot about things. :C). People are creating crappy, unneeded add-ons, making posts in Modification Discussion of add-ons that won't go anywhere, they want it just to beta test. People make suggestions and try to take over it. People are trying to bandwagon on old stuff to look cool. Also, people who talk about things they have yet to even grasp the concept of are idiots. Yes, all my rants have been about this one thing.

General Discussion / Fort Wars, what to avoid.

I've seen more and more fort war servers lately. I'm not saying the idea sucks, it's the server.
Reasons:

• Admins love to abuse.
• Bases are usually spam, events, and weapons.
• Almost all have VCE turned off.
• Have ridiculous rules and don't know how to turn add-ons off.
• Some choose endless maps to have it on, therefore no actual "war" is going on. I mean, any version of slate sucks.
• Builder rules. 'Nuff said.

I'm tempted to host my own fort wars server to show people what an actual fort war is like.

Off Topic / Knees jacked up. Can't do nothing.

So...
About 3-4 months ago my leg would randomly start to lock itself up and I couldn't run or else it would hurt bad. I thought it was nothing and ignored it. Until the recent month, it hasn't bugged me too much. Now, it locks up more frequently. It happens especially when I start running for the first time in the day, but even so, it still locks up after that time. I went camping yesterday and I couldn't run. I tried running and my leg would kill. It was either run or bike. I told my mom and while ago but she shrugged it off. I tell her now because it kills and we aren't able to do anything. We are going to Japan in a week and X-Ray appointments and doctor appointments here have like a week waiting list. I won't have a bike in Japan, running is my only fast way to get around(other than transportation) and I'm afraid I can't run. :(
Ideas?

I want it for chat menus I made for events.

Hi. Recently, I've seem posts in the "Modification Discussion" section that have to relate to "Beta Testing".  I am very surprised people have started to do this and for the sake of humanity, ask them to stop. For example, these thread contain the following material relating to this subject.

This specimen contains people who are "claiming" a beta spot. It also contains and so called "idiot" who thinks he owns the mod.

This specimen contains a suggestion. As people displayed their models, people "claimed" a beta spot. It also contained a person who claimed the "modeling" position when their skill has yet to be tested.

I thank you for your time and thank you for reading this Aperture Science public notice. We hope to keep Blockland clean from unneeded comments and hope this will stop.

Hey, it's not funny. It get's annoying trying to read posts when red text says something unnecessary and gets in your way. For those of you who have an IQ of -1, heres a very detailed tutorial.

First off, look for these buttons. They are at the top-middle section. If you can't find them take deep breathes and look again. Don't freak out.


Then find the "Profile" button. This shouldn't be too complicated. If you get lost, don't stress out. Just try again.

Now click it. This might takes some time depending on how you use your mouse.

Now you come to this big page. Don't get intimidated because it's real easy to navigate.


Look for the section, on the left, that looks like...

Don't get scared. You'll eventually find it.

Now go to the bottom of the section. It looks like this.


Try to find text that says

Click it. This may take some time.

Now you'll appear here.

Again, don't get scared. It's big but easy to navigate.

Go for the text that says...

You're almost done. Now that you've found it go for the checkbox and make sure it looks like .

Now you're done! Congratulations!

I seriously hope this gets rid of that spam. That may of been funny a while ago, but now it's annoying. And if you want to do it for any idiotic reason, please make it a "size: 1" font.

Drama / Since when did being in a clan made you leet?

I'm sick and tired of this crap. More and more people have been acting leet because they are in a clan like ARES, NWB, or C. I've seen people going around saying "Oh let me join your team, I'm in [clan].", "I can build better than you because I'm in [clan].", or "Hey you need to respect me because I'm in [clan]." One of the many this has happened was with "rocket" from NWB. I was playing on Hellshero's Fort Wars (Yeah, this was a while ago) and rocket joins. I didn't pay much attention to him until he said something along the lines of...
"Hey [name], let me join your team. I can build a better base than that."
The guy responds with a no. Rocket responds with "I'm in NWB."
It makes me mad people can claim respect by being in a clan. >:C

Off Topic / Tired of my parents.

Well, they've been getting mad at me for being on the computer. They set a 2 hour rule which I usually break. And now my dad is trying to use parental controls on my account. Luckily, my account is the default admin so even though it says I'm a standard user, I'm an admin. He's blocked blockland because my brother and I fought, and I found a way around. Any advice? =/

Yeap, 4th of July. Although, I'm a bit scared I might get bombed on the way to LA. D:
But I'm going to a small town called Miyako, where my mom's parents live. My grandpa's mom had a house, but she died. So we are using that house. I might take pictures and post them on the forums. :3

I've gotten bored of all the "DMs", "CityRPG", "CTF"...
I was thinking of a few new, creative game modes.
"Landscape"
Where you are a landscaper with the tools to create a wonderful landscape. Unfortunately, you are left with a desert. You must find a river to water the soil, mold the dirt, and watch for the weather. There are a few things to this. You only place bricks you dug, or bought. You cannot hold more than 1000 dirt bricks. Grass must be near water and planted. If it is dry soil, it is unable to be dug and it dries everything around it and above it. Weather plays a key role. Rain = water, too much rain = flood and ruined landscape. No sun = no planting, sun = dryness, but planting. Snowing = no landscaping, ETC...
"Survival"
[Insert reason why you were left to survive here], you have to survive until you get rescued. You only have a tent, a bow, and water. Your human necessities play a role here. As well as weather. Random monsters can appear and depending on the enviroment, animals could wander there. [Insert stuff about Minecraft Survival].
"Last Stand"
You and a group of teammates must defends a point whiles waves of monsters come in. As each wave comes in, each get more mobs, stronger mobs, and more deadly mobs.
Well, that's it. I know, you can do these with events, but I want gamemodes. >:(

It's just a player type that keeps the player from moving, turning, or doing any actions.
