I'll look into it, using tdmlives, of course.
It might end up having to be a gamemode, though, and I can't do those.
It isn't too hard. ;)
I'll give you a hint, GameConnection::onDeath(%client,%killer,%killerclient,%damageType,%body).

Modification Help / Re: Detecting if the player has his light on?

isObject(%client.player.light)
Ah, I was looking through Truce's Advanced Light script and found %client.light not %client.player.light. Makes sense, thanks.

I would recommend that you lock the topic before it grows into a hate fest.

they are suitable for every age for me
If you believe that the game is suitable for your age and your parents don't care then no one can stop you. Then, because of that, how does it ruin the game? Or are you just mad your friends cannot play the game because of the rating?

@Coolio Get. Out. Now. I said ESRB didnt change anything, i didnt say they dont deserve to burn in hell.
You hypocrite, you were doing the same earlier BEFORE you edited.

It didn't.
I'm asking him why he thinks that. ;)
Unlike most people, I'm trying to explain to him why ESRB and PEGI cannot ruin a game.

Along that note let me post my edit:
No rating can change a game unless the company wishes to change to game to fit a better rating or if the game was deemed too demeaning for the public and was removed from shelves.

because they put it for PEGI 18 and ESRB M rating
So?
How in the world did that ruin a game?

obviously i have PEGI 16 and PEGI 18 games that i play them including my GTA LCS that got rated PEGI 18+
My point in that post was that ESRB or PEGI could not have ruined the game. I was also clarifying what they were for and I asked why you think they ruined the game. No rating can change a game unless the company wishes to change to game to fit a better rating or if the game was deemed too demeaning for the public and was removed from shelves.

habits are illegal for childs
Then why am I not arrested yet?

On a side note, ESRB and PEGI are there to help inform you about your choice of game. You, or your parent/legal guardian, may choose to ignore or acknowledge the warning as you wish. The reason most game stores do not allow children to buy M or AO games on their own is because they do not want the children's parents complaining to the store. The same concept follows for movie ratings.

Because of this, I don't understand why you are making a big deal out of the ratings, or why you think it ruined GTA.

Is it possible to detect if the player has his light on?
I've tried isObject(%client.light) and if(%client.light $= "") with no luck. =/

I can try and get this to work, seems rather easy to script.
While I'm at it, I'll add a RTB prefs for Light Energy Regen if I can.

I'd prefer this to not be a tool and instead a 'Server_' add-on for the sake of convienency.
It doesn't matter what the name is, it matters how the script works. Names are just there for organization. ;)
