Read my edit. My school is 40 miles away...  about 55 from my work. Also, I have people who I need to stay in communication with. When you get a job, you'd better not ever loving text someone. That's one tough 8-10 hour shift, buddy.

This all takes me back to my original statement.

He checks his facebook/twitter and etc because he can't stay away from the internet.
He checks his grades via the internet because he's too lazy to walk to his school.

1. My friends and I all work. When you get a job, try making phone calls. It's easier said than done. Getting fired or written up isn't fun.
2. When did I mention Facebook or Twitter? Now you're just being an starfish.
3. I'm not always at my school, roosterbag.

@#1, you said walk. Haha! I live 40 miles from school, 20 miles from work, and up to 50 miles from my bandmates. I can't just take a chance and show up. Why? OH! Because we all have jobs!

I'm actually assuming you have the standard life for a twelve-year-old. I'm never home. I have a data plan because I'm never around a normal computer. I use this data plan to log in and check my grades and class announcements...  and obviously recreational things such as movie showings and price checks.

No, I have my phone because of how It's legitimately used in my daily life. You literally would not know anything about this...  you're 12. You live at home and attend middle school. My "argument" is totally valid and relevant.

I recently heard a friend of mine doing a perfect Scottish accent. I was jealous. Two days ago, I looked at a few Youtube videos explaining the accentuations and vowels...  basic stuff. I ended up practicing for a cumulative total of about four hours that day (I drive a lot). When it came time to drop the accent, I couldn't. It took a good twenty minutes of talking to fully drop it. Now I still find myself letting it back out without realizing it...  especially when I'm tired. Sometimes I can't even find the original pronunciation of a word without breaking it down into its basic parts and thinking hard about it.

I've screwed myself up. People are starting to notice and think I'm doing it to be "cute." This is the first time I've practiced an accent and I honestly didn't know something like this would happen.
