Off Topic / Re: Mac Vs. PC
« on: June 10, 2008, 01:04:27 AM »
I hate, no LOATHE Macintosh computers for two reasons.

1. They create a double standard. I code and do websites. I hate double standard. There's a difference between Internet Explorer and the rest of the browsers, this causes me to have to backtrack 50 freaking times and edit my style sheets for the IE tarts. If Macintoshes become popular, programs will need to be done this way, too, if they are too succeed.
2. Their commercials.

Hi, I'm a business Jew with a stick up my ass and low sense of self esteem.
Hi, I'm an awesome cool doooood who goes to 4chan. Hey, PC, why do you suck?
Because I'm a Jew.

Modification Help / Some questions.
« on: June 10, 2008, 12:54:35 AM »
First, how do I set up a global variable that saves like a $pref? (I never figured out what Trader told me.)
Second, what methods are there (besides scowering the forum) to find 'parent' functions? (For instance, ::onDeath)
Finally, I remember there being a command I could type in that would deconstruct an object and give me all the characteristics of it. For instance, I could deconstruct a player-type and get its Max Health.

Also, I cant open my command prompt with the tilda and it's pissing me off at this point. Hao2fix?

Help / Re: how do you play as lego people on blockland

Ignoring OP's nooby-ness.. It would be quite possible. I don't even see why the minifigs from Vanilla cant be used. I've seen Fooly use the Skeleton and Monkey minifigs from there without any problem.

Help / Keymapping is off whack.
« on: June 09, 2008, 05:06:23 PM »
In game, a bunch of my keys are contorted in funny ways. For instance, "[" has no output, yet "]" outputs "[" and "\" outputs "]". A plethora of other keys also do not work, such as the "=" key.

Any known solutions for this?

Modification Help / Optional Parameters
« on: June 09, 2008, 05:04:25 PM »
How does one define optional parameters for a function? TheGeek kindly suggested the following code, yet it did not work.

Code: [Select]
function foo(%need,%not=5) { }
