on idle they're a bit toastier than they should be. my cpu idles at a little over 32C and my gpu idles above 42C, and it doesn't even run with its fans on til it hits about 60C
It's a "little toasty" sure
But not "overheating"

No one o
In this ropic is going to state the obvious... So i guess i will.

Those temps are not hot. Not by a long shot
These temperatures are fine
Most modern hardware is rated up to 100+

There's also the possibilty the sensors are off. This is a reading from my server:

I doubt the accuracy of 83c on a completely idle low end basic GPU

You could look into improving your cooling system if it worries you (dust it out, get a new case with good airflow), but those temperatures are by no means "overheating".

ill mix vinegar and lemon juice

Just go to pet store and buy the spray meant for this
Vinegar or lemon/lime juice might work in a pinch, but it's not as effective. I used vinegar when I got a kitten and he didn't give a stuff about it. Stayed away from the bitter spray, though

But then i caught her doing it only when i leave the house
Yeah that's why you need to use something not directly related to you

There's a bitter spray you can buy from pet stores that you just spray on the cords. Tastes absolutely vile, but completely safe. They'll chew it once, taste it, then stop

Yelling "NO!" And not having cords everywhere are good things to do in addition

the idea is that you literally cannot test the existence of a god.
Not directly, no. But most religions make numerous testable claims, such as the age of earth

And when claim after claim after claim is proven false, you're usually left with two explanations, either "god is deliberately deceiving us" or "perhaps it's not a coincidence that this god's knowledge is the same as the knowledge of the people at the time that belief in him originated." Which you choose depends on what kind of pursuits you follow; emotional or intellectual (Note that I'm not saying believers are dumb)

It's only these gods I claim to have any degree of knowledge over. And even then I'm not claiming absolute knowledge, just "I'm pretty sure"
There's uncountable religions I don't know anything about, and thus I can't claim any degree of knowledge over their gods.
And the deistic approach of "there's a god and he exists and that's it" will never be testable and thus no one can claim knowledge over that.

I remember long ago he and I used to be friends.
I remember hanging out on the same server a lot(him on my server, I think? could have been the other way around)
We were friends on MSN and talked occasionally

But then it seems like... one day he just...hated me. All of the fairly infrequent interactions I had with him will negative
He didn't come to my server anymore, I didn't see him often ingame, and when I did he was fairly aloof towards me. Occasionally I'd get completely random and unsolicited hateful MSN messages

atheist
but agnosticism/gnosticism is harder to say

If you specifically define, with testable criteria, what God is, and you test those criteria and determine them to be false, then you can conclude that god does not exist.
(People who don't want them to be false will argue otherwise, but that's another argument entirely)
The concept of "a god" is so extremely vague, however, that if you don't specifically define it, and have nothing to test, so you can't know anything

No, pretty smooth if you ask me.
If you're used to it, sure
But get used to a good ping and then you'll hate going back

Or if you're playing a game where 280 is fine

So where should I tell my coworkers I'm going when I take a day off work for a con

MFF I just said "I'm going to visit some friends" but that doesn't work as well when this one is only 15 minutes away
