kind of stuffty that it counts as a loss to leave when you're the only one on your team.

it's stuffty, but the alternative is stufftier
if it didn't count as a loss, losing teams could exploit it by having one person leave, then wait the minute and leave, and only have the one person take the loss

just got called a creative af junkrat from someone on the other team after I saved our asses in the most majestic way

I mean you still didn't answer my first question which is about the golden skins themselves.

Because it's competitive mode; their should be rewards for people who did well, not just hand-outs for everyone.
Like WoW has rewards (like mounts and titles) for the top whatever % per season.

where do you go to check your skill rating

Have you done your 10 placement ranked games?
It's kinda hard to miss

I'd be more willing to play comp if you didnt have to win 300 games before you could get a single weapon skin.

You also get some at the end of the season.
But like Nymph said, I don't want to see entire games full of golden weapons like legendary skins are now

Also a friend just said the number of points you get per win will increase as the season goes on

i think it's fudge, not frosting
or rather, if you look very closely at the top layer, it looks like it's actually two layers, a thick bottom and a thin top
so fudge and a little bit of frosting

Weirdly I lost both of the comp matches I played with a full stack of players, but the one solo comp game I played was easy as hell.

Because when you solo queue you get matched against opponents who solo queue, but when you queue in a group you get matched against a group
So the group you matched against was just more coordinated than yours

you can pair zarya's ult with a lot of other ults. reaper's, phara's, tracer's, junkrat's... the list goes on

also i've learned the great way to counter that is to use zenyatta's ult when your team gets sucked into zarya's ult and it can null everything except for junkrat's ult really

i love hanzo's though
it's one of the few ults than can go through reinhardt's shield
it can't be destroyed like junkrat
hanzo doesn't even need line of sight



Also, I got a Lifesaver potg by putting a Zarya shield on someone who was standing still being shot in the back
Also, PSA: there are more POTGs than just "this guy did a forgetton of kills". Sometimes you'll see "Lifesaver" "Sharpshooter" or "Shutout" at the bottom of the screen.
The question "how was that potg" is usually because it was one of those types.
