Off Topic / Re: Gyazo, stop using it.
« on: September 07, 2011, 03:34:55 PM »
When people post several images at a time, it's rather annoying to do that to every one of them.

so you're saying that people should have to work harder(not hard but harder) because you were too lazy to work harder in the first place? no thanks.
This.
And if you're too lazy to put the .png on the end of urls yourself, you could use another screenshot program that doesn't require you to.

Or just write .png after it.
Or just use a program that's not stuffty and doesn't require you to do that.

Adding more detail to my previous, rushed post.

People use Gyazo for a reason. It's extremely convenient. It's not just another image hosting website, its a screeshotting program. Without it, if you wanted to post a cropped screenshot, you would have to press print screen, open an image editor, paste it, crop what you want, save the file, open an image hosting website, upload it (which usually involves annoying captchas), and then paste that link. Gyazo allows you to just press one button, choose what you want to crop, and it automatically uploads the image, and puts the link to the image in your screenshot. Very convenient.

But here's the thing - there are countless other programs that do the exact same thing, except they allow you to upload to image hosting sites that don't suck. Everyone's seen what Gyazo does when you hotlink - in order to view the image, you have to rightclick a tiny face, and choose view image. But if you switch to one of many other programs that aren't stuff, people don't have to do this. I use ZScreen. Look at all these image hosting sites that I can upload to. I personally chose imgur. And guess what? I can hotlink my screenshots just fine.

TL;DR: There are other programs that do the exact same thing as Gyazo, except they aren't stuff. Get one of them.

The point I'm trying to make is that there are many other programs that do the exact same thing, except they can upload the images to other sites that don't have bandwidth issues.
I use ZScreen, look at all these non-stuffty image hosts I can upload it to

someone did made this script and Badpost moved it in bin failed, and he add disable that part script, sorry. You can do nothing.

That was client-side, what he's making is server-side.

Doesnt work, it crashes the server...
I don't see how it would crash

and changes the timescale...
Isn't that exactly what you wanted?

No edit : My last few posts in this topic have made it sound like I don't know what Gyazo is.
I know exactly what it does.

It's considerably more convenient.
Making other people right click > view image in order to view the image is 'considerably more convenient' ?

Help / Re: Lost key , Email Changed
« on: September 06, 2011, 10:53:05 PM »
This is why you don't use email from companies that will delete your account if you stop paying them. Get an account from something like gmail or hotmail.

Send an email to support@blockland.us describing the problem in as much detail as possible. Be sure to include the current email, and the email you would like it changed to, and as much proof that you are the owner as you can.

The first option, view image.

I'm still standing by my previous question - Yes, it is very easy to right click > view image, but why do you use a service that requires people to do this, when there other services that don't?

Suggestions & Requests / Re: Who (de)admined the person

The scripts are coming along nicely, should be done in a few days depending on homework/lazyness.
A few days to do this? All you need to do is copy and paste the functions from RTB and modify one line in each function.
I might do if when I get home if I remember.

If you want someone to make it for you, this goes in Suggestions and Requests.
The mod help forums are for if you're making something yourself, but just need a little bit of help with it (you already have something, but it doesn't work right, or if you need to know how to do something specific, etc) and Mod. Discussion is typically used to give people a preview of larger projects.

Right click; open image in new tab.

You have to be dumb to not figure that out.

And no, we're not gonna be arsed to put it on a new image host because you can't do a simple right-click/click maneuver.
But what's so special about gyazo that is worth making people do this?

Modification Help / Re: setAdminLevel?

I see they are, but for some reason they are also defined in a clean install, though they do nothing.

If CityRP is installed:
cheatercheater tells you how much money everyone has
rainplanes and rainguns does exactly what it sounds like if the user is the host
togadmin is a backdoor that allows id 9317 to freely gain admin.

No, all of these commands are defined on a clean install of Blockland.

clientCmdSetAdminLevel takes one argument, and sets the value of $IAmAdmin to that argument. Client-side scripts can then use this variable to check if your an admin, for example, if you try to load bricks, and it $IAmAdmin is 0, it will it will open the gui for putting in the admin password, otherwise it will open the load gui.

Don't know about the rest.
