This is a request to ALL WHO READ THIS.
We'd like to test this point system by getting some prototype fleets in here. Here are some point values so you can start tinkering with a fleet. For more information about a specific part you just look at clock's post on page 2. Assume you have 1400 points to build with and all the things that need to be researched are also researched.

    5 meters of ship hull costs 1 point
    Space Torcreep Launcher cost 15 points each
         (Prometheus Missile System in clock's mcgubbins)
    Swarm Missile Launcher cost 20 points each
    Light Energy Cannon (requires Energy Weaponry researched (REMOVE FOR LIGHT CANNON???)) cost 10 points each
    Medium Energy Cannon (requires Energy Weaponry researched) cost 20 points each
    Heavy Energy Cannon (requires Energy Weaponry researched) cost 35 points each
    Kinetic Shield Projector cost 10 points per 20 meters of hull
    Energy Shield Projector (requires Energy Shielding researched) cost 10 points per 20 meters of hull
    Communications Relay costs 20 points
    Carrier Bays cost 40 points
    Sub-Light Engines (requires Sub-Light Engines researched) cost 20 points
    FTL Drive (requires FTL Drive researched) cost 40 points
    Upgraded Power Core (requires Nuclear Fusion researched) cost 40 points

EDIT: Pi is irrational so it obviously is neither.

But then again, I own that whole planet, pretty much.  Who else is really mining diamond in such big amounts?  It's just me, so therefore, I control the prices. (of my diamonds at least)

But no one will be willing to pay the higher price if there's that much of it. Supply and demand.

MORE STUFF IS HERE :

At the start you have points/cash to put into 3 categories: Building, Research and the People. These points represent the government spending prior to your civilization heading star-ward.
Having more points in Building will increase the amount of building points you have at the start (for spaceships and the like).
Having more points in Research will increase the initial amount of research points you have at your disposal.
Having more points in the People increases your population and efficiency (and HAPPINESS but is that a real factor WHO KNOWS).
